What I was referring to was that some beverage producers are switching from HFCS to apple juice concentrate because people are don't want to eat HFCS. But for all we know the apple juice concentrate may be far more harmful if it comes from China with all their pollution. Presently there is no way to know what the country of origin of the apple juice concentrate was from, and in most cases it is mixed, USA, South America, Canada, and China. It least that is what I found out when I called juice companies to try and find out where they get their juice from. Some manufactures do put where the juice comes from, but it is at their choice.

Almost all the apple juice sold in the United States has some concentrate from China. And SO many people give apple juice to their children. Also apple juice concentrate is used to sweeten other beverages "naturally" like cranberry and lemonade and fruit punch. Fortunately Ocean Spray recently switched to using cane and beat sugar to sweeten their cranberry juice. They previously used high fructose corn syrup which can contain mercury depending on how it is manufactured.

This tariff is encouraging Energy independence, something that is just starting to get into the heads of Americans. We need to cut our reliance on foreign energy, in the short term drill more oil wells, produce more ethanol, and produce home hydrogen plants (solar and electrical powered).

The last thing we need to do is to start importing fuel from Brazil (who is not our friend). Besides where do you think they get the land to grow sugar cane? That's right my eco freak friends - the rain forest.

Seriously, they aren't taking the rights from anyone who is over 18. Do you think that a 16 year-old should be able to buy latest GTA? Liberals like to play to the young so that they can recruit them at a young age.

I was in the mall and saw an poster ad by the Ad Council and it was a picture of a female teenager walking in the mall and in the background there was a sign on the clothing store that said "you must be 18 to buy clothes in this store." ant he caption on the photo said to the effect that you need to vote to keep your rights.

What cracks me up about the poster is that you have to be 18 to vote! So if you can vote you can buy clothes in that store.

Am I the only person who minors should be limited in what they can do and buy? Have you seen how teens are dressing and acting? I live near Albany NY, and one of the malls there the mall management instutited a new rule that anyone under 18 must me accompanied by a guardian on Friday nights and Saturdays, or they are escorted to the security office to call for a ride. This was done out of necessity because the teenagers were driving paying customers away, with their loitering, unlawful, and rude behavior. And this isn't an inner city mall; it is right in the middle of Suburbia.

I personally had stopped going to this mall because of the teenagers, and once the rule went in effect I went and it was another world! It was actually tolerable to shop.
