I'm fine inside a skyscraper with a standard vertical window. If it tilts out so that I feel like I'm leaning over the edge, that's the trigger.
At the G.C., though, i couldn't get within 20 feet of the edge where the observation point was. How that Native American tribe gets people to do the Skywalk thing, I have no idea.
Join the club. I'm fine with flying, but I freak out at steep drops that I'm "connected" to. My daughters thought it was hilarious when I lost it at the Grand Canyon, and I was nervous all throughout dinner when we ate at the top of the Stratosphere (not my choice).
Given that I almost panicked on the Palm Springs aerial tramway, I suspect that I'd go into full-blown panic mode on a plane that did that.
Airbus may be able to make a plane like this. I doubt that they'll sell many to commercial airlines, due to liability concerns over people with acrophobia. There may be a niche market for sightseeing etc...
How did the TI 340x0 series deal with it? It was a *bit-addressable* machine, but char was 8 bits. They shipped an (allegedly) ISO compliant C89 compiler for it.
Because this is Bankruptcy Court, specifically Delaware BK court, and the BK judge in question has pretty much let SCOXQ do whatever the hell they want.
I don't know if it really happened, or was just in the script for Apollo 13, but the movie has a story about Lovell following a bioluminescent plankton trail to find his carrier at night.
When my daughter was in NICU (back in 1993, she was 7 weeks preemie), there was a 3 month preemie there. He survived and is fine.
Hell, my *MOTHER* was 2.5 months preemie, and that was in 1938.
Also, 2002 called with Scott Spezio's home run in Game 6.
It's been about 15 years since I played with it, so I'm afraid I don't recall.
Sorry.
Thank you. I was mistaken and unsure. I should have stuck with the first question, and not posted the second comment.
Yeah, the channel numbers stayed the same, but didn't they move in the spectrum during the digital changeover?
This is the whitespace formerly used by *ANALOG* broadcast TV.
I live in Los Angeles, so about 10 million?
Never mind. Found it on Wikipedia.
It's a Shuttle-C derived stack, using the stock ET and stock 4-segment SRBs.
It'll also apparently be man-rated, but because the capsule is inside the fairing, there's no danger of falling foam damaging the heat shield.
How does SD HLV differ from Ares V?
In his fantasies, some chick bangs him.
Given that I've already admitted my fear of heights, why the fuck would you think I'd even attempt to go onto the observation deck?
Yeah, that's a better way of phrasing it. Edges.

The one with the hadron will be on top
Except that *no* money has gone to the creditors, except for creditors that happen to be law firms working for SCOXQ.

SCOXQ already has a buyer in mind (probably Yarro), or they wouldn't do this auction.
The difference between ME's and CivE's.
ME's build weapons.
CivE's build targets.

Humor is subjective, I guess.
It's not the stereotyping that bugs me... I just don't find the humor funny. And I've been told I have an incredibly warped sense of humor... Oh well.
You're being facetious, but that's exactly what would happen.
MetroPCS are the guys with the borderline racist ads featuring two not-very-funny Indian tech support guys.
Warning! Do not look directly into iris scanner with remaining good eye!

No biggie.
