    No. Orbital velocity is roughly Mach 25 (as calculated at sea level) -- 18000 mph. Escape velocity is about 40% more than that (25000 mph or so), or roughly Mach 33.

    Bull. Deliberately using this against people is against the laws of war.

    It's designed to be used against equipment in areas where you don't want large amounts of collateral damage.

    I agree. I suspect the adrenaline kick from the "fight or flight" in an actual dangerous situation.

    I was in an auto accident. I *know* it happened in slow-motion for me. Doesn't mean I was able to do a damn thing about it, just that I saw it happening and it took forever once I knew I was going to be hit.

    You live in Woodland Hills?

    Before the Canoga Park CompUSA shut down last year, within a 3 block radius we had:

    * CompUSA
    * CircuitCity
    * Staples
    * OfficeDepot
    * BestBuy
    * Fry's

    When I needed something *NOW* (as in I couldn't wait for NewEgg), I'd wander into all 6 and find the best price. Actually, I'd check their websites, and then go to the store with the lowest price...

    In particular, he was praised by Judge Gross, the Delaware judge handing the SCOX BK case.

    Isn't N2 *28* g/mole since atomic nitrogen has an atomic mass of roughly 14? N2 is *two* atoms in a molecule. Similarly, O2 should be about 32 g/mole.

    The CA launch site gets no launch boost from being "close" to the equator. It's the prime site for polar orbit launches (you launch south over the ocean).
