    How did the Lunokhod rovers land?

    It sounds like the Chinese are planning on imitating the Apollo landing orbit profiles.

    IIRC, the CSM stayed in a 62 mile circular orbit, while the LM went into a 62x10 orbit. If everything was go, they'd do the landing burn at the 10 mile mark, otherwise, they'd return up to the CSM. The landing missions did the burn, Apollo 10 returned up to the CSM from the orbit.

    Because responding to a petition to eliminate (or reform -- I can't remember) the TSA by having the HEAD OF THE F***ING TSA tell us about the awesomeness of his department, and completely ignoring the issues raised by the petitioners isn't making a joke of the process?

    No it's not dickish. The scrum master (or actually a different team member) says, "We'll put that in the solve". Then the scrum meeting stays short and to the point, and members who need and/or want to be there for the solve can stay and deal with the long point.

    Of if someone just starts rambling, we remind them of the time limit. Don't have to be a dick to do that.

    It's steel, not aluminum, but I just bought an Antec 300 for about $50. Top and back fans, 9 bays, Midsize ATX. Black. No annoying windows or lights.

    Tobii has been marketing this to that demographic for years. My wife just got a Tobii C15 with EyeGaze to allow her to talk, even though her ALS won't let her move her hands or speak.

    But for those who are disabled, this technology is a godsend.

    Tobii has been making these for a while for the AAC (adaptive and augmentive communication) devices. My wife has ALS, and can no longer speak, and cannot move her hands to use a stock text-to-speech app. This thing allows her to talk with me (albeit slowly), and is amazing.
