It sounds like the Chinese are planning on imitating the Apollo landing orbit profiles.
IIRC, the CSM stayed in a 62 mile circular orbit, while the LM went into a 62x10 orbit. If everything was go, they'd do the landing burn at the 10 mile mark, otherwise, they'd return up to the CSM. The landing missions did the burn, Apollo 10 returned up to the CSM from the orbit.
Because responding to a petition to eliminate (or reform -- I can't remember) the TSA by having the HEAD OF THE F***ING TSA tell us about the awesomeness of his department, and completely ignoring the issues raised by the petitioners isn't making a joke of the process?
I'm from LA, too... I can't remember the last Smog Alert we had.... And when I was a kid, most of the summer was First Stage, with a few Second Stage alerts every year.
No it's not dickish. The scrum master (or actually a different team member) says, "We'll put that in the solve". Then the scrum meeting stays short and to the point, and members who need and/or want to be there for the solve can stay and deal with the long point.
Of if someone just starts rambling, we remind them of the time limit. Don't have to be a dick to do that.
Tobii has been marketing this to that demographic for years. My wife just got a Tobii C15 with EyeGaze to allow her to talk, even though her ALS won't let her move her hands or speak.
But for those who are disabled, this technology is a godsend.
Tobii has been making these for a while for the AAC (adaptive and augmentive communication) devices. My wife has ALS, and can no longer speak, and cannot move her hands to use a stock text-to-speech app. This thing allows her to talk with me (albeit slowly), and is amazing.
I've been using it for months and it works great for me and I'm not going to support my statements with any kind of reasoning. A 3 year old can learn to use it, get used to it you Luddite!
I might be the only/.er to have ever watched any of I, Claudius
No, you're not, but unfortunately, I don't remember much of it. But from my class in Roman history (many many MANY moons ago), it was Livia, not Olivia.
6 CTRL-P, if you were in ROM monitor.
You have the right to remain silent. However anything you DO NOT say can and will be held against you in a court of law.
How did the Lunokhod rovers land?

It's steel, not aluminum, but I just bought an Antec 300 for about $50. Top and back fans, 9 bays, Midsize ATX. Black. No annoying windows or lights.
I tried using ducks to cure a bad code too... It didn't work for me either.
It is copyrighted, and distributed under the GPL v2.
It's a good thing you're bearded. "Beardo the Clean Shaven" just doesn't have the same ring to it!!!
In '92 we paid $3000 for 32MB RAM in a new departmental Unix server.
Around 1990, I paid $400 for a 40MB MFM drive.

Not to mention that 30 Dec 2012 was a Sunday....
Forgot to preview
"unes simply did not function"
And how was that different from non-leap years? Or any other time at all?
It *was* consistent.... Consistently a PITA
Unfortunately, what they've been reading is a little too much X-Men.
Where do you live? I started seeing some advertisements for Xmas just after Labor Day!!!!

Those of us who think that running ONE OS at a time is more than enough. We don't need to run two.
