As im reading this i'm checking my bigpond account. 329 spam. It should also be noted the bigpond have no spamfiltering stuff and include emails in the 3gb cap.
Well the broadband is starting to get better with newer unlimited ADSL plans out 512/128 including TPG at about AUD$80 whereas Telstraâ(TM)s 3gb capped on is almost AUD$100. Unfortunately it seems you can either go with a decent connection with massively painful cap or get a half decent plan that has crappy, pings, speeds dropouts etc...
Telstra really screwed over its customers, original the plan was AUD$67 a month for unlimited, then they raised the price, then they cap it at 3 GB then they raised the price again. Being the only ADSL provider at the time there was nothing anyone could do unless they went back to dialup or were lucky enough to be in a cable area and could get Optus (although the Optus cable plan is now capped also). Of course Telstra have stopped bothering to lay down the fiberoptic connection being able to force more money out of DSL and satellite pay-tv.
Also think about what restrictions on sound your going to have. If there are going to be lots of people in the same room it might be good to just have a headphones only policy although if its in a hotel this might not matter so much. Also if your not the only people staying in the hotel sound could be a problem.
There are always some idiots that like to show how loud they can make their subwoofa go.
The adventure games died out when decent 3d hardware accelerated graphics took off. Grim Fandango was probally one of the later adventure games, it had prerendered graphics with 3d characters. Although adventure games have died off many other games are starting to get adventure qualities in them. Think of the diffrence between doom and a modern single player fps shooter.
Well there is a google cache for the site but its not much (just a few ads for tabaco)
What are the chances of building a space lift being allowed. People have trouble building tall buildings in some places due to the shadow, won't this cable have some issues like the fact that it would cast a shadow over the entire planet, also what if somthing goes wrong and the cable breaks, ever read the book series (red, gree, blue) mars where the cable came crashing down on mars? hmm i guess they could get around this by building it in a country thats willing (any country woth out fussy laws that want money).
Whouldn't the system need to be cleaned? Also you don't want to loose the fizzyness if you leave in in there for too long. And make sure it won't explode in an eathquake or somthing =)
You should try making things out of those old coaxual terminators (like these ones http://www.d-m.com/images/coaxcon.gif ) You can make heaps of cool things like robots out of them and lots of places have them left over as they have moved onto cat-5.
All the prwdy images are/.ed =(
I think i still have a C64 somwhere around here, maby i'll pull it out. I don't have any of the special cables for networking though. There are other OSes for C64 including multitasking unix based ones.
Telstra don't respond to their own customers complaints so i doubt they will respond to some usernet talking about spam. My plan when from an unlimated 256/64 ADSL for about $65 AUD (maby $75), to a 3gb a month $96 one, with 18c an extra over they did speed it up to 512/128 but I think it was probally so people are more likly to go over. If i go 1gb over thats $180 extra. Problem is they had a monoploy over the entire market for ages although thats starting to break with iinet and internode with 12gb plans for the same price.
The Linux client would require you to have a Windows install or download all the games data because the files are in.cab format, there is however a.cab file extractor for linux. Would this work and why doesn't Bioware do somthing similar to the installer. It could be that.cab files were created by microsoft.
The linux cam extractor is at http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php3
It seems funny that Microsoft should build MP3 ripping software into Media Player and win XP then do this. Even if they make somthing that works it still doesn't stop people from playing it in a stereo and then straight into the computer.
ergo it would see somone has been watching the Matrix ;)

Don't forget that there are also more people alive today.

So basicly you can make a normal clock as accurate as an atomic clock by putting an atomic clock inside it... hmm...

Shouldn't that be kazaalite.com
Why not have an archive of every spam email you have, including all the images. ISOs of every AOL cd you have gotten.
