This dastardly attempt by the imperialists to stifle us will surely fail, as it always has in the past.
Our revolutionary scientific laborers, working under the glorious revolutionary banner of Juche, are coming up with our own as we speak! Our fervor shall produce better equipment than the American garbage, whether it be electronics, liquor, or food. Indeed, we have always done so, and the stories of us needing to import so called "luxury" goods are imperialist lies to discredit us.
As just one of many examples, it is well known that Great Leader Kim Il Sung, in his secret bunker on Mount Paekdu, singlehandedly created the Internet during the War of Resistance against the Japanese, passing on the specification to American military whose scientists who took credit dastardly for it twenty years later. I post this first post as a trivial testament to our revolutionary ingenuity, illustrating our pre-eminence!
Once again the imperialist dogs will be reminded of the futility of their ill-advised ways!
I read Slashdot all the time and all DPRK citizens enjoy freedom of Internet use in our worker's paradise. I bet if Microsoft did this in Windows, you'd be attacking and criticizing them for adding "eye candy", slowing the system down, hurting performance, etc. But since it's not Microsoft, you praise it uncategorically.
Hypocrites, all of you.

He seems to be favoring big American corporations in awarding contracts in rebuilding Iraq, why would the IT sector be any different?
Anyone wanna bet that the "leak" from Microsoft's senior executives is really a hoax designed to throw everyone else off? Not having backwards compatibility runs against Microsoft's past philosophy. Heck, most DOS stuff and Windows 1.X stuff still runs well under XP!
IIRC, wasn't there some sort of other copy-protection scheme that caused the CD drives in certain Apple iMac models to lock up, unable to eject the disc, and requiring servicing to get it out? There was a HUGE uproar about that, and they withdrew it...
A glorious day indeed, comrades! We look forward to many victorious posts on here in the name of socialism! Let the imperialist American and South Korean dogs tremble before our might!
It's a cause for celebration anytime filthy arrogant Americans (and as a bonus, a dirty Jew) are killed!

I always appalaud any entity that is designed to undermine the imperialist factories of filth, vice, and sin that is the Western movie and music industry.
In North Korea, we are working on using Kazaa and other P2P nets to distribute some much more patriotic and upright works such as Arirang, Fight the US savage dogs, Happy Socialist Days, The Kim Jong Il Song, and more!
