Maybe you should think about the fact that not every movie is made to entertain you. If you're one of those people that goes to see a movie like this and at the end says "Man that was fucked up" without ever thinking of it again then meybe the problem is you. Maybe you should instead think that what's fucked up is the fact that there are conditions in this world in that lead to this type of behavior. But hey, what do you care, you just want your popcorn, coke, and some good entertainment right?
Wow, Dow in the 10,000 range. Great, and also meaningless. The lower unemployment you are refering to is another meaningless statistic since just about anybody will tell you that the jobs that have been created do not pay no where near as much as the ones that were lost. So I guess instead of calling it the jobless recovery we can just start calling it the shit job recovery.
People here always argue that copying music isn't stealing because nothing is in reality stolen. Everyone seems to agree with that. How is it then that cable piracy is now being called stealing, and everyone agrees with that too. I'm not saying it is or it isn't, but come on, pick a side and stick to it.
What do you mean fast enough. Fast enough for what? There are many things for which they are not fast enough at all. There are many applications of computers that I wish would take at most a minute (and that is just an arbitrary number because if it did take a minute I would probably wish that it took a second) but with today's computers may take an hour or so. Granted most people probably don't use %50 of their computer's potential but there are those who do. Are we supposed to wait untill everyone else catches up. While stability and security have nothing to do with the speed of a computer, usability may have a lot to do with it since with faster computers better AI can be designed that will be better able to respond to the users needs.
MMORPGs are compatible with dial-up Internet access. Maybe so but would you really want to play these games on a dial up connection. Many of them barely work with broadband.
Xbox Live costs $44 per month ($40 for broadband and $4 for Xbox Live). This is an absolutely retarded statement. Are you suggesting that most people will get a broadband connection and use it for nothing but XBox Live. I seriously doubt that. So let's say I sign up for 3 MMORPGs games that I play on my computer and I'm paying let's say $10 a month for each, plus I have a broadband connection that costs $40 a month. According to your math, playing these games costs me 3 * $10 + 3 * $40 = $150 a month. If anything, most people will probably already have a broadand connection. In any case, the cost of a broadband connection is comparable to the cost of dial up when you factor in the connection costs plus the cost of service.
Six thousand people dying is a terrible tragedy that must not happen again, but the truth is that far more people died so that we may now have these liberties then on 9/11. Let's not forget the sacrifices that those people made fighting in true spirit of liberty and freedom. Let's not now make a half-assed effort trying to ensure people's safety while at the same time use it as an excuse to take away personal freedom.
It would be a lot more helpfull if you explained what "OURS" means. Exactly what country is "OURS". That is of course unless you are trying to suggest that "OURS" is the rest of the world, in which case I would ask you why you feel that you have the right to speak for the rest of the world.
But none of the countries except Russia and maybe(and that's a big maybe) China have a way of delivering these nuclear weapons. And seeing as Russia has had their own problems with the Taliban I doubt that they would start a nuclear war with the US over this. Not that I think nuclear weapons should be used, but if they were on some very limited tactical scale, not much other then complete political isolation of the US would be the result.
You have to realize of course that I could simply substitute Indymedia for CNN, NBC, ABC, or FOX News into your post, and it would make just as much sense.
As free MP3 trading grows and faster connections are becoming increasingly available, CD sales will shink. When the industry can't make money for what they do, they won't do it! Why go to work 8 hours a day for nothing? All you'd be left with is sucky garage bands who do it for the fun of it.
It's not the industry that creates the music, it's the musicians. Why should the industry make the majority of the money off someone's work.
Then how do you explain the billions in profits that the record companies are pulling in. Certainly if you break eventhen it's implied that you have made no money.

This is like trying to get fit by skipping the cheese on you double whopper combo. It's already too late so just give it up.

Ehh.....Last I checked, turkeys were already solid objects.
I have to say. The fact that you said "price delta" and not "price difference", gives you a lot more credibility.
Not really. All it proves is that if you want to make a point, always use bold font.
For the sake of OO and any other OS project out there lets try not to associate them with the IDF in any way. I think it's just better that way.
If you were to pop a cap in one of these idiot reps' asses, I think it would also act as a deterent against trying to make these kinds of laws.

The invisible army in the desert...what more can you say.
You're a moron !

I won't add anything to what you said. Instead I will just say that your comments are right on target.
How can the essentially same comment be score 1 Flaimbait and score 3 Insightful at the same time?
Their bias is in mostly not what they cover but in what they are unwilling to cover.
You have to realize of course that I could simply substitute Indymedia for CNN, NBC, ABC, or FOX News into your post, and it would make just as much sense.
Then again you might want to stick with the cloudy beer, unless of course your in the habit of tasting your own piss.
So how much of that $11-15 do you think goes to the artists? The RIAA isn't very greedy...hahaha that's had to be sarcastic.

Except that signals don't travel at the speed of light. It's about 2.3*10^8 m/s in cable and 2.0*10^8 in fiber.
