Yeah, this is believable. He's so relatable. I'm sure someone will get around to posting a paragraph to his wiki page of his programming exploits from his hacking days.
I eventually moved to the Mac. I got tired of going to security forums and reading about how one antivirus software was better than another. As if anyone really knows. Heck, the other day Slashdot had an article about a new bot that goes undetected in "over 80 percent of machines running antivirus software." The headache worrying over it isn't worth owning a Window's machine.
Before Time Machine, I made two bootable backups. One to an external firewire drive and the second to an internal drive. When the software I used--SuperDuper!--updates to Leopard, I'll go back to doing that to at least one drive and possibly continue using Time Machine for the other.
I didn't know I was reading Slashdot when it was such a young site. Now I know...because I registered a domain at the end of that year and hosted the site at Llamacom.com which I found as an advertisement on this site. Their banner ad may have only run once. I never saw it again.
I wish there were a heavier version of Monaco that I could use for my terminal.app. If you increase the Monaco's size it actually gets harder to see; at least for me with my aging eyes.
I think it's excessive. I mean considering the last time I looked, "life" in Florida is 25 years. A murderer who gets "life" would spend far less time.
TBH, I don't know all the arguments. What struck me from the video is how the supposed ice core data actually show temperature leads CO2 which sort of debunks the whole idea that human activity causing global warming. Has this particular aspect of the video been debunked?
I'll have to let my brother know. He'll feel good to know that the 6 figure IT job he was just laid off from so it can be shipped offshore didn't really happen.
I used to love flipping PCMag's pages to Dvorak's work. But that's before I knew better. Which was about ten years ago when I let my subscription finally run out.

Once GoT is done I'm removing all the pay channels from my service. Most all the programming has turned to shit.

Back in those days I was afraid to register anywhere. I mean come one, how many topics back then were about PGP? :)
What are their real intentions?

First rule of unix, never tell anyone you use pico. Second rule of unix, NEVER TELL ANYONE YOU USE PICO! ...
OSX comes with Bash.
If "hacking tools" are outlawed, only outlaws will have "hacking tools."

Exactly. I would never trust a brokerage with my money if they won't secure my email address. Moreover, pump and dump spam?!! WTF!
Don't you mean Real Admins did it in Edlin?

But with WordPress you can't be sure there isn't a security fix in a latest version.
Man, that one brings back memories...I loved that calculator.
Thanks for those links.
Interesting link. Thank you.

I agree. This video seems quite revealing from a skeptics POV.

I'd consider buying one except the design makes it too tall for my computer hutch.

Well?! Where is it? :)
I realize; I love Google.
