    The pay-per-trip Oyster card is not linked to you personally either, so there is absolutely no difference, except Oyster is more convenient...

    They are the same machines, just with two different readers.
    (In case you haven't noticed, that yellow little dish on your ordinary Tube gate is the Oyster reader...)

    And how is this any different from the ordinary magnetic strip paper cards which has been in use for years on the Tube?
    They, incidentally, also have a unique ID number linked to the registered owner's name, which is recorded together with the location and time of the exchange every time the card is used...

    AAMOF, the A500+ shipped with AmigaOS 2.0 and later 2.1.
    3.1 was available as official A500 upgrade ROMS.

    Hell, I still have all the disks and documentation (about 2m worth of shelf space) for IBM DOS 2.0 and IBM Office Assistant!
    Does everything OfficeXP does, but without the annoying paper clip... ;-)
