I'm not suprised. MoP added in so much freaking dailies and even more of a grindfest for everything it's getting almost as bad as any korean mmo like Silkroad Online for grinding.
I may be a hardass for saying this or be in the minority for sure but if Blizzard had never been touched by Activision to begin with and if they had kept the model of Burning Crusade where you needed to do attunement quests to do raids with your guild as well as getting gear but just expanded upon the storyline of the burning legion and *MAYBE* WOTLK but without removing the things that made vanilla wow and BC unique, a game aimed towards hardcore players who actually wanted to spend time to do everything, read into everything in the storyline, and felt a sense of accomplishment for all you did, especially when battleground games like Alterac Valley could last 12 hours or longer, that was super epic.
Now ever since cata and especially MoP it's so blatantly aimed towards a casual player that anyone now can make a character and within a month of just doing random dungeons/heroics and the dozens upon dozens of dailies and rep grinds be geared up enough to start raiding with a guild to get more gear.. and god praise the lord if you actually know how to not stand in the fire, listen to your raid leader on ventrillo, and learn how to properly spec your character and use it's abilities to the fullest you may actually not be labeled yet another casual sheep to the warcraft slaughter.
My best gaming memories with warcraft are from 2007 when Burning Crusade was still the current expansion playing a night elf warrior and it always will be before this game slowly got ruined over the next six years and millions of other peoplw who think like me left.

Once the source code for Mcafee and even Norton products got sold off they both became bloated pieces of crappy software that for some reason people still seems to think is actually good? Sure mcafee was a great DOS based virus scanner in the 90's and norton software was actually semi decent in the 80's and 90's until it got sold off.
In a way you do have to wonder if Mcafee and Norton software rights and code were never sold off would they have been better and completly different products today?

Which made me think back to the early 90's when Mcaffee virus scanner for DOS was pretty much the top choice for scanning for viruses it just means it really wasn't him that made the software to begin with. I'm curious as to why in the article they didn't mention exactly what model of e-reader is used. Such as is it a modified Kindle, Kobo, Sony, or other brand ereader? And also why do they think no one will break the DRM and keep the books for themselves on their own personal ereader? Far as I know DRM has already been broken on e-books so that they can be converted to other formats as need be depending on e-reader support.

If what I've heard and read online is true in that the 720 will not allow you to lend physical game discs to friends and family to play as well as not allowing used games to be bought and played from stores such as EB Games/Gamestop all because they want to tie down physical game discs to the first console machine its played on with some DRM garbage then I hope enough people realize to say "Screw you Microsoft" and switch to the PS4 instead which is supposed to not have DRM lockdown garbage.

Seriousely if they wanted to release a better sounding clip they should not have used iTunes to encode this in MP3. They would have been much better off having two samples one in uncompressed FLAC and another in Ogg Vorbis format which would have sounded better then the MP3. Maybe this is why so many people are having issues understanding the entire clip because of how MP3 adds in those lovely sound distortions, hisses, and sizzles.
In a way this does sound good until you go to play Counter-Strike on it and you end up falling down on the treadmill a few dozen times as some little 8 year old kid with a aimhack is owning you over and over before you can even run on the treadmill to get out of the way, crouch/duck and fire back.
What I believe would make windows more "doomed" or "dead" at least in the PC gaming market would be much better video support for OpenGL in linux comparible to DirectX in windows in such popular distro's as Ubuntu and Linux Mint. Valve is already trying to do this with the steam client and if enough games run well on it that used to be primarily windows only games such as Half-Life 1 and CS 1.6 and even Half Life 2 and all the Source engine games under OpenGL it may be enough to convice a good portion of the pc gamer market at least to stop using windows and directX and migrate over to linux and openGL.

If only because even once good magazines such as Popular Science, Scientific American, and Popular Science are now pretty much 80% ad pages and 20% content. I do not want to read a 15 page article in the magazine from a company trying to showcase the latest car, product, or god knows what else.
You look back oh lets say 10-15 years ago in the three mags I mentioned above and you seemed to see a lot more content and a heck of a lot less ads.
Sounds good until you realize that it'll be tied down into Itunes and iDevices and that it'll likely use the AAC format or some variation of it to stream music and they most definetly will insert audio and possibly video ads into it as well. And it will not support shoutcast radio streams something that's been around now for over 10 years.
I'd rather stick with my own music collection of Ogg Vorbis files ripped from CD's I own and much higher sound quality compared to mp3 and AAC and not be tied down to the patent and license crap that Fraunhofer and Apple made with their own audio formats.

Now that Disney and Abrams are at the helm of the Star Wars franchise I very highly doubt it will happen. They will absolutely ignore all of the books written storyline wise since the end of Episode 6 in favor of more kid friendly garbage with more gungans and quite possibly, this time, fucking Disney characters in a star wars universe.
