"Coin" is such a generic term relating to currency that I can't fault Amazon for using it. Nintendo has Play Coins. Next you are going to tell me someone is going to try to trademark "candy" before others start mooching off that.
Amazon Coins and Bitcoin solve two different problems. The average Amazon customer probably heard of Bitcoin but doesn't know exactly what it is. They probably understand that Amazon Coins are just gift cards though. I don't see the problem.
. . . should we blame the government? Or blame society? Or should we blame the images on TV? No, blame Canada! Blame Canada! With all their beady little eyes and flapping heads so full of lies. Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
I'm sure AT&T is going after T-Mobile's spectrum and even their infrastructure to an extent. That does not explain why T-Mobile is selling though. I'm sure there are a lot of reasons. The iPhone may very well be one of them. Your comment does nothing to debunk that.
Next time someone says we are stupider than monkeys, I'll respond with an emphatic "No true. We exhibit the same economic irrationality an monkeys, thus putting us on the same level."
Focus on techniques rather than specific languages. Make sure you develop a strong foundation and new languages will be easy to pick up later. For a student, the foundation is way more important than a particular language.
And why did the technicians generating the md5's not know this? I'm all for the ruling, but how hard would it have been for someone to stand up and say, "We got this guy, but let's get a warrant before we scan his hard drive."
Just think, with all of the regulations out there, and they still can't be bothered to spend money on basic maintenance, I can't even begin to imagine what the place would look like if nobody even pretended to be there to make them try.
As someone in the field of equipment reliability of nuclear parts, you are way off here. The money they spend is astronomical. I'm usually mystified on where they get there budgets.
"It sounds like a dotcom-era business plan: 1) give it away, 2) ???, 3) make pots of money."
Actually, it sounds like the Underpants Gnomes. Step 1, Collect Underpants. Step 2, ?. Step 3, Profit.
Yes, a first. I makes me sick to think of all the Sony format players that I bought and then became utterly useless because of no media -- DVDs, CDs, foppies . . .
I work for a private company that develops software for nuclear power plants. I VPN into various plants all the time. So all plants have outside access and thus it is not entirely impossible.
Can you provide any science to showing that vaccinations are not as effective as building up a natural immunity?
Call me selfish, but that doesn't help my 8 month old daughter who can't yet get the vaccine and relies on herd immunity for the time being.

I very stupidly just Googled "giant beaver" at work.

iPhone 4S users do use the most data.
I ALWAYS deal in absolutes.
It is on msdn.com. Can we consider this a partial and fair article? I'm asking, not accusing.

trojan != virus
Don't forget about Dr. Mario . . . What do you mean Dr. Mario isn't really a licensed gynecologist?

Doesn't iTunes have like 70% of the legally downloaded music market? How the hell could this be a negative for the Pre?
I agree. My Sirius radio is in my car and stays there. I use my iPhone when in the office, but it just doesn't cut it in the car.

And who's going to reimburse me for the 7 AV programs I just ordered?
Don't those AV programs mostly scan for Windows viruses on the Mac so you don't pass around those viruses to Windows users?

Are you volunteering?
