Think about it in a different way, who ever paid for it got suckered. Had they done their research they would have found your documents and used it as allowed under the GPL. You were doing it for free anyway. I know that's not the point but I'm trying to be positive here about it.

Works for the British, if and when we don't vote, the backup system of government kicks in. We RAIG our governing process. Redundant Array Inexpensive Governments. When that kicks in we don't need to vote and life is simpler. If you're wondering why we don't use the backup then, its because it uses too much power.

When I first encountered Flickr, it was in Beta stage, fine I thought, I will get a free account and see what happens when its complete. Fast forward to present day and its in Gamma stage, I've still not paid for the service. Why did you pay for a service which was a Beta product? Anything can and could happen. Have you ever bought beta software before and expected a flawless service, why expect something different now?

Maybe its just me but I've already got a yahoo account so I didn't give a shit when Yahoo took over and I don't really care now, mainly because I haven't paid for the service. Next time sit a new product out and see what happens. I see a mole hill being turned into a mountain here.

I think we are talking about 2 different things here, you think I'm talking about a plan, I said service. Basically Cingular has worked with Apples' iPhone so that typical data that we receive via the network has been done differently to accommodate this new device. One example of this, is the random message system the phone is capable of and the way the ichat program sends and receives text (SMS).

I want to pick up on your comment about the dock usage in other operating systems. I use a mac but I'm speaking as a designer. I find the dock visually more appealing than a task bar to begin with and in nearly all occasions a task bar cuts off text within its program or is indistinguishable from other programs apart from a tiny icon. Due to that behavior I would question the use of text, something which NeXT originally did. Have you ever thought that Apple has applied a larger level of thought for the dock while Windows designers and linux designers haven't? Linux and open source software is widely criticised for its lack of UI design, Open Office for example and Windows fudges some elements of their GUI design because they copied off Apple in the 80's. I briefly wanted to mention this, I could go into more detail but I don't have the time.
