I'd be more interested as to how people in the region developed different facial features, such as smaller eyes and differing skin tones. If we all have supposedly come out of Africa as the Article suggests, what is the reason for our physical differences? Even as a child, our differences amazed me, now that I'm older and the current theory is that we all came from Africa, I'm left asking myself again, how did we get them?

Yes yes yes, all those reasons are interesting but more importantly, does the XBOX 360 have an Apple Logo on it? Sorry, in this case my money is going to Apple, next time Microsoft will listen to its customers, they have to look at the market and realise how their product will fair to superior offerings. Support the FEATURES people want!!! Why is this so hard for the Microsoft nazi's to understand???

The visual styles are hardly an issue, granted its noticeable (because somebody else made a big deal out of it and now I notice) but the traffic light set of icons for organising my windows are the same and to re-size the windows are the same as well. I'm looking at those 3 visual styles right now while typing this and its such a non issue. So what if the program functions are inside a different styled button? They're in the same place and do what you ask it to do with one click.

OMG, my pen and pencil set I got for xmas work differently but are stylised in the same way and all my paint brushes are a different size, how will I cope from a usability stand point!

Your post was good until the last line. I hate to mention it once again to somebody else but, Steve Jobs did say in the Keynote that they will make a 3G version. I'm speaking under the assumption that nearly everybody on Slashdot watched the keynote or heard this fact spew from SJ's mouth from somebody else. If you didn't watch the keynote, then now you know. A 3G version is coming, Steve said so.
