I mean *IT IS* the US here who could feel theatened by this...or Taiwan. No, no, it must be the US because its an xenophobic yank bringing it up!

Ringo: What's wrong with that? People never shop at Apple Stores, why not? Nobody ever shops at the Apple store after bitching about windows but not favouring linux. Best Buy, CompUSA, local computer shops, you get your head blown off trying to buy a Mac in one of them. Apple Stores on the other hand, you catch with their pants down. They not expecting a windows user to buy something from them, or not as expecting.
Hunny Bunny: I bet in places like this you could cut down on the ctrl-alt-delete factor.
Ringo: Correct. Just like Best Buy, these places are insured. The managers don't give a fuck, they're just trying to get ya out the door before you find out the extended warranty is a waste of money. Geniuses, forget it, they ain't takin a question about linux for Reality Field Distortion Steve. Floor Attendents, some wetbag really give a fuck whether you dislike windows, they want you to buy a mac. Then call me an ignorant user as well, I don't know how OSX works and quite frankly I don't need to, yet. I've had 3 macs using 10.2 and 10.3 and so far i've reinstalled about 8 times on all the macs, probably rebooted them all twice as much. If I don't have any problems why would I need to waste me time to learn how OSX works? When it fails is when I learn something but so far I've had to trouble other than with a printer and it was apple's fault with the supplied drivers on the install CD, I had to go to HP.com and download them myself.
I dunno this could apply to everyone but I was under the impression that OSX wasn't like windows where you have to understand the control panel inside out + registry and BIOS. People have to understand all that crap because windows is a failure. I'm not suggesting either that I'm totally stupid, i read up on apples releases and have tinkered with Linux. I have even played with the command line, but then I thought what is the point, nothing is NOT working. But my time is my time and if OSX does everything for me why should I waste my time learning how to fix it (until its broke) when I have more productive things to do?
When it does break is when I learn OSX, at the moment i'm studying to much to care.
