You need to fix your hardware if you are seeing blue screens. Yes I know default is just to reboot on blue screen unless you change that, but you are still notified on the reboot about the error. I have only have seen a blue screen in XP with a flaky soundcard/bad drivers.
You could probably have left out "AI" from your post - we have seen no evidence of any intelligence on behalf of the editors of natural or artificial means.
Hmmm, I wonder where the kids got the money to buy said book.
Sure, they could be older teens and have a job, but more likely since we are talking about "kids", their parents bought the book in the first place. So since it is the parent's money, how are they "sponging" off of their kids?
Yeah, but at least with Zork (and other infocom titles), you only saw the description each time you walked into the room if you had typed "verbose". Maybe we just need to uncheck the verbose setting in our profiles to ignore dupes? Oh yeah, that option does not exist.
Your mobo does not have a VIA chipset does it? There is a known problem with 9700/9800 and some via chipsets (and both via and ati keep pointing fingers at each other)
I think Ultraviolet is based on this (since they both refer the the vampires as having a genetic issue the same way-hemophagia):
http://imdb.com/title/tt0169501/
It was an ok series.
What does design have to do with it when certain programs install the spyware at the same time? The problem is sneaky software vendors (and not necessarily MS in this case). How is the system supposed to know that the program you are installing is ok, except for these files for Claria that are included in the install.
I know there are issues with some sites taking advantage of stupid users with IE and some vulnerabilities, but I really think the much bigger problem is people just installing anything they find without investigating it. This is not an issue with the OS - it is a user education issue.
Considering the fact that quite often spyware is bundled in the installation of other programs (coolsavings.com has a coupon printing program that bundles claria) - it is not always an IE issue. All of the spyware infestations I have seen stemmed from sneakware in with something they have installed. Sure there are some sites that try to hijack your browser and get you to install IE controls to continue onto their site (which installs the spyware), but I really think that all the MS-Bashers need to keep these cases in mind. IE is by no means the only way that spyware ends up on people's computers.
Yes, we have a legal department.
I work for Charter Communications (St Louis Corporate office) and am pleased that they are standing up against the bullies.
I have the same problem (multiple locations) so I developed a web app to handle all my favorites (and group them in categories). Sure I have to submit the favorites to the app, but now I have all my favorites everywhere.
That just means you are an ovo-lacto vegetarian, not a strict vegetarian. Being vegan refers to any use of animal products (leather, byproducts in cosmetics, etc), not just diet.
Plastic guns? Do you have any examples? I am rather curious
Normally when someone says that I always think of Die Hard 2 and snicker.
What is this "mircal" that you speak of?
Voyager left the universe? Whoa! I thought it left/was leaving the solar system.
I believe you are thinking of Nikon.

If your "megahurts", then maybe you are doing it wrong. ;)
Actually, if you are expected to work 40 hours a week and you worked 44, that could be considered giving 110%...
Whooosh! Whoosh!
;)
That was the sound of two jokes going over your head.
spew our carp on the world TV? Is it a fishing channel?

and to think I read it as Ancient Care Bear DNA... sad.
How very vile indeed.

or First On Race Day. As opposed to GMC (God's Mechanical Curse/Gross Mutilated Crapheap) or Mopar(ts), Mopar(ts), Mopar(ts)...

Odd, I have never heard of a hurricane in L.A.
Yes, but he said "delicious wife" so he must be a cannibal and is therefore plenty disfunctional enough for /.

Does anyone understand WTF the parent is trying to say?
