Trust me on this point. the current non Vista POSIX is still crippled. I havent been arsed to check the beta out since i only get 10 gig a month *gives the finger to his ISP* but if someone that has could confirm it has/hasnt yet had the full functionality they claim to be delivering for 2k3 server R2 et. all. that would be appreciated.
Untill that implementation comes through its going to be very tough to get a drop and go stle thing going at all. the closest is CoLinux and thats got an utterly arcane networking step.
speaking of poisons... boron is a fission inhibitor by virtue of being a newutron absorber... aka a reaction poison.
modern reactor emergency shutdown systems are usualy designed to drown the reactor core in boron to end the chain reaction immediately in the event of an "un-requested fission surplus"

MS would either become a web services company. or a Linux vendor before they died, theyre too big to just disapear so simply... theyll find a way, even if its by Forking a BSD to build a 100% linux compatible system or something... they could do it with their resources.

what about us down under? its not going to cost THAT much to ship the stinking prize down here is it... you can ship to EU but cant be stuffed Shipping to AUS... im almost tempted to go try opera isntead of the 1.5 RC like i was intending to do tonight...
abolutely not daft at all. They have a highly stringent policy on cheating and they go to great lengths to stop it (you know, their own rootkit/Warden type thing to do the job)

Id like to point out that the GNU userland is guilty of "embrace, extend, evicerate" maneuvers like MS is. all you GNU'ers out there anser without flaming why its so good that it should be co opted onto every system in order to make them more linux like, instead of the software for linux being built to function across kernels where possible.

clearly you havent seen the released footage so far of this upcoming Zelda title. If you had yould be less inclined to belive that.
Also i doubt your a nintendo Gamecube owner, theyre far more likely to shell for ANY title than other console owners due to a generaly smaller/higher quality range of games, with something like the new Zelda offering a seriously worthwile purchase new console or not. Nintendos gamecube has been slowly squeezing more and more out of it towards release of the Revoloution. look at the graphical progression in quality in the last 2 years and youll see quite a hike up. Also as a nice bonus to game devs the Rev is TOTALY backwards compatible. As in PC game style, you know, Old games just run faster, etc. So their Nintendo Gamecube dev kits, only need an update (saves dev costs for nintendo) or can just be kept since they can make a good game on it anyway and it will work.
On a side note id like to point out that GameCube Linux is getting good progression to being able to do useful things, and id say budding homebrew game devs should think about investigating it seriously since it will be forwards compatible to revoloution by way of revoloutions backwards compatibility. So i cant wait till i can use a Rev as a Media Center front end... Its the perfect size, and that blacks so stylish.
Im hoping to use an MMO to get mine into gaming and quite happily spend the time next to her, with her playing it :)
:)
And it will make solidly kicking ass online next to her all the more fun if she gets shared exp from it too

it weighs 54 kilos standard, the average wood DIY rack aint gonna cut it for this baby.
