was previously played out on the simpsons, it turns out in that episode they got on senator drunk in drinking contest with homer, another one abstained from voting because they had some dirt on him, and something else...
at the end of it krusty got his bill through and Springfield got something else they did not need.

Nah, they're actually talking about ruskis that where breaking into people's systems/networks and then black-mailing them for money otherwise they would reveal data like CC info etc that they had stolen from their systems to the world or where ever that kinda stuff gets revealed.
the FBI setup a sting with the help of a company that was being black- mailed. They basically offered two of the hackers jobs in the US and promised to get them working visas etc. The next thing you know the two guys got on a plane and went to the US and were arrested. simple as that.
They then in a plea bargain ratted out on the other members of the group/team etc..

Because it will just flame fanatics of all persuasions and give their arguments of how the US is a crazed money and energy hungery monster (which isn't so far from the truth) real weight and credibility.
The US of A, currently has many internal problems, including health and educational infrastructural issues, inherent disunity between minorities based on both rase and financial class lines. It also currently has a critical problem with foreign policy only being able to maintain control over smaller countries through so-called goodies like open the doors into the US market for them, which sort has gone completely wrong when it comes to trade with China, and many many more issues, relating to crime, drugs and just standards of living for the typical average joe or Jane.
The last thing they should be thinking about is launching weapons into space...
Delphi uses an extension of Pascal known as Object Pascal, Delphi itself is an RAD/IDE, however over the years people have come to associate the Object Pascal language with Delphi and vica versa.
I personally think Object Pascal with Borland's extensions i.e.: interfaces and properties etc, make Object Pascal one of the best programming language currently available.
Its clean, it readable, its highly type-safe and most importantly its really fast!

Look what more can anyone say? This is a real push in the right direction, not only for the Pascal community but for the developer community as a whole!
When code is distributed freely, its free and thats the end of it. It can't be called non-free, because at the simplest level, every instruction needed is openly available and its usage terms are set with the accompanying license.
Now what people are complaining about here is that because gcj can't properly compile the code being placed into OO (mainly due to protected and public scoping in classes) that all the code should be removed from OO.
That doesn't make sense to me, and i don't think it makes sense to many people. its illogical
IMHO if for example the GNU Java initiative had fully implemented everything in Java land including the very vast libraries there wont be any complaints coming from the open source community with regards to Java code being OO.
And thats pretty much the crouch of the problem.

I write an application in "ANY" language "I" choose, and then I distribute the source code of the application which "I" had written in the language "I" chose and people who want it download it, build it and run it.
That said open source has got nothing to do with the language I use but rather the way I distribute my code and the accompanying usage terms.
I think some of these so-called hackers that are complaining about the use of Java in OO, are doing so because they lack the necessary skills in Java to contribute, and hence feel left out of the so called open-source "fame game".

Initially what kind of hashes are they producing? Can they replicated md5, sha, sha-1 etc all in a reasonable amount of time?
I doubt they can, and even if they could the hashing criteria is based on other things as well, such as exact file size in bytes and a possible fuzzy file name match.
So there are actually three pieces of information that have to be equivalent:
message digest + file size + fuzzy file name match
I want to see them produce 2 files that have the same hash value (be it MD5, SHA-1 etc..) and also be of the same file size.
If they can do that my hats are off to them, if not good-night sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!:)

With all SEs you can set how many results you get back per page. Results ranging from 10 per page to 100 or even 200 results per page.
So their guarentee of getting you on the first page is dependent on what the number of results per page is. If they're assuming 10 then GREAT!, but if its 100 or 200 results per page well then...
