No multimedia keys, and a crappier feel (Unicomp makes crappier keyboards than Lexmark did with their version of the Model M, which feels like a cheap knockoff of an older IBM Model M).

http://www.pckeyboard.com/customizer.html (available in 101 (same as Model M) and 104-key layouts).

Unfortunately, that's your best bet unless you want a pointing device, in which case you want one of these:
On the Ball (101-key trackball-equipped keyboard)
On the Stick (101-key TrackPoint-equipped keyboard)
    EnduraPro/104 (104-key TrackPoint-equipped keyboard)
On the Ball Plus (101-key trackball AND TrackPoint-equipped keyboard)

I'm typing this on a PS/2 Model M through an AT adaptor (hey, this box was free, and I like the keyboard), and if I had the time to get an adaptor (you do have to pick carefully, because the Model M doesn't work with many USB adaptors and some newer mobos), I'd have a USB adaptor on there.

I know someone replied to you already, but here's another description of it:

Think of Fedora as RedHat, except with a Debian-esque development model. Actually, it's built on the RedHat 9.1 beta code that was out before RedHat ditched their free/basic distro. Fedora is now RedHat's low end distro, except it now doesn't have support. The great news is that Fedora seems to be innovating, and not stagnating like RedHat seemed to do. I might try Fedora, especially as it's now becoming one of the major x86-64 distros, and SuSE left a bad taste in my mouth when I tried 8.2 (it was a bit incompatible with every source package and most RPMs). I'm not saying RedHat was perfect (I tried SuSE BECAUSE RedHat had major problems at version 8, when I tried it), but seeing as it's RedHat, it's got it's advantages (RedHat Package Manager tends to work best with RedHat, by the way).

Thing is, the installer on (insert mainstream desktop distro here) is better than the installer on (insert NT4, 2000, or XP here). However, "installation" for those who choose a new XP box is this:

Click I agree twice, click Yes, register now, type in your name, rank, and serial number (OK, so your name, address, etc., etc.), click Next, click OK, and say hello to your new computer.

Linux on Joe Blow's desktop will never be viable as long as hardware manufacturers don't work with Linux (Intel, USR, and Conexant come to mind), and software developers work against Linux (MS is the biggest problem for Linux). Also, wide usage of stuff that doesn't support Linux by computer manufacturers (lowest bidder) doesn't help either.

LOL... especially when they've got blatant errors in them. Let's look at Page 24 of the January 2004 PC World:

"My adrenaline fix isn't what it used to be. Double the dose."
What exactly does that mean? OK, so it has double the address space, but what else?

"Double the data path from 32- to 64-bit and you more than double the thrill factor."
Thrill factor isn't something you can measure...

"Uninterrupted, ear-splitting, streaming audio and rich, razor sharp video make your pad a launching pad."
Slap a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 in any recent (last couple of years) rig, and you've got the audio. Slap a Radeon 9800 XT in any recent rig with AGP, and you've got that. In fact, I'd have to put both in an Athlon 64 FX system to get that.

"What's more, you get all the power you need to edit, mix, and model your own digital creations with memory to spare."
Sure, it applies if your board can take 8GB of RAM and you're running a 64-bit OS. However, if you're running release versions of Windows XP, you're only running a 32-bit OS. 4GB RAM max.

This one takes the cake, however.
