    Yes, knowing what to comment is a challenge. When I am actively working on a piece of code I find that I know it almost intuitively and comments are unnecessary. It's only when I go back weeks or months later to work on it again that I find the comments would have been helpful. Once I stumble through it a second time, I usually end up figuring out where the comments are needed. :)

    It's top 15. This is straight from Webalizer. It can probably be hacked to give OS breakdowns, but my "copious free time" list is pretty long at the moment. :)

    I'm a big fan of MAPS, but one would think that over the years they've developed some very high-level contacts over at AOL and that they would call these guys up and talk it out before undertaking a major blacklisting.

    Some BL lists have no published way to get off once on. There should be some consistency to at least getting removed. I speak from experience of having "inherited" an IP addr from my hosting provider that was formerly an open-relay. It took a lot of effort over 2 weeks to clean that mess up.

    The decision-makers will be finance-oriented, not technologists. Keep the "just like MS Office" points at a high level and keep pushing how much money it will save. Worst case, MS radically discounts their sw to play for the block. With either outcome, ther's more money to spend on the students, and that is what it's really all about.

    Although Mr Allen is no longer directly involved in the management of Microsoft, he remains its second biggest shareholder. There is no suggestion that Mr Mandelson has broken the Commission's code of conduct.

    As a rule, rihc and powerful people tend to hang out with other rich and powerful people. I suspect this is more about giving the appearance of impropriety rather than any impropriety itself. Political opponents will try to make hay from this.
