The problem isn't a good guy with a gun. I'm pro gun, and agree anyone with a weapon in the crowd could have done nothing. The problem is we're moving into a time when we will no longer be safe in any group larger than five. no gun, then truck. no truck, then poison. Hell, a drone with nerve toxin could have killed everyone. and is that sort of thing getting easier or harder to manufacture? Scary times...
Well put. People ( myself included) are often oblivious to their own skew. When you have staff trying to gain favor or their boss, they're more likely to move in that direction.
Yes, but those skilled workers are assembling in a perfect work environment with all tools needed on hand and in order. That has to cut down on their time.
But...how do you know it doesn't actually exist? Have you seen the full schematics? Do you work for apple. Sure, apple told you it doesn't exist. But they also produce the iTunes application, and anyone responsible for that monstrosity has no clue whatsoever as to what's real and what's not.
If assistance was a sliding scale, this wouldn't happen. As for tax dodges, everytime I suggest a scaled income tax with no deductions for anything, business or private, i hear nothing but "think about the poor!".
I'd argue they need a sliding scale: When making 100 dollars more a year moves you from "getting support" to "not getting support", the incentive is to earn less.
Neither the hard left nor the hard right like people disagreeing with them. but I've noticed while the hard right is more likely to call me an asshole for it, the hard left will simply ban you. Hell, I have an ex friend who cut me off because I wasn't properly incensed about Charlottesville. My facebook posts weren't angry enough. In her words. She couldn't be friends with someone who wasn't publically angry enough about it. She broke down crying , in fact.
You blame the free market on American's being lazy? I blame Americans blaming everyone else but themselves for it. Sadly, that includes your statement as well.
I've always bought used cars previously. but recently, when comparing the difference between a slightly used car financed at 2.5%, and a new one at 0%, the cost difference between the two came out to hundreds of dollars. Plus, There's no need to put down a majority of your money immediately, 0% doesn't care how much you owe... Assuming you pay your bills on time. Anecdotal: the car I'm currently driving WAS a rental car. 242K miles on it, always been a great car.
I've always hated these "Inevitablity" arguments, assuming the future case is exactly like past cases. For example: People ate plants, then raw meat, then they ate cooked meat and plants, then processed plants. Obviously, the next stop is eating polystyrene. How can you hold back the future?
They're not buying Whole Foods. They're buying whole foods' distribution network of refrigerated storage and freezers, so they can distribute "whole foods TM" brand amazon crap.

I think they're talking about the opinions of the Facebook administration.
It's sorta like saying " All the good M&Ms have done". While it's technically true, it's good on a base entertainment level.

You're working out. Premium sound is not your priority. With shoes, good shoes are a priority, because they directly impact the workout.
If that's standard business practice in Seattle, I wouldn't wanna work there either. That's just idiocy.
I'd suggest mounting a large Green Goblin head on the front of a truck, if you're really looking for a reaction.

Wait...he doesn't agree with drug use, and that makes him a neo-stalinist? Are you high?
On a side note, Condolences on your mom. Cancer's a tough one to watch someone go through...
Not creativity from drugs, but drug users rationalizing their use. "Oh, I'm special, it makes me better, I'm not like all the other abusers..."

You're right about the echo chamber.
i need more than just Symantec saying so, since they themselves verge on malware.
What about all that "good group of people" in Africa? or Haiti? or Eastern Europe?
You're picking and choosing based on geography.
Why Can't Mr. Sam Sung just drive himself around?

I'd argue anyone advocating total government, or total absence of government, is pretty damn evil.
You keep coming up with these half cocked ideas. I'm sure you believe them, even apply some sort of logic to them.
That's the frightening part.
a win win study, hmmm. alternative energy...."Berkeley environmental engineer..".
Dammit! Nevermind.
