A lot of dodging and unanswered questions. At the end of the day, he's yet another typical politician. Just this one is slightly more concerned about technology than the rest of them...
It's actually pretty interesting technique that they used. They don't just clump up the mutas. From the results page:
Contemporary StarCraft wisdom tells us that the best way to use mutalisks is to clump them. In human versus human battles, this makes it difficult to single out the weaker mutalisks, because the units are stacked on top of each other. However, UC Berkeley’s team identified a flaw in this tactic; it reduces the damage output of each individual mutalisk, because not all mutalisks will fire when using this tactic. Instead, they employed a model in which mutalisk are always moving, maximizing damage output while simultaneously maximizing movement.
Perfect for capturing the Sorority girls in the next dorm over that turn-off the lights, but never close the curtains. "No honey I can't see you, but my camera can."
I think Infra-red cameras will work better for your case. Sure, the colors aren't natural, but it works much better in low light.
Google is only one part of the Open Handset Alliance. Sure, they are the bigger driving force of the development, but with Android there's always an option not go with the Google-integrated phone. There is a choice. With the iPhone you don't have a choice.
It's possible that he may suspect this "flying saucer" is some other countries' new secret technology that is used to spy/attack them. Thus he call in the security.
To have completely different sessions of Gmail (or other services), open the incognito window (Ctrl+Shift+N). I find this mode really handy for web development to test stuff that require a secondary account.
Firefox also has something similar, but last time I checked, you can't go Incognito and normal mode at the same time, unlike Chrome.
Sorry but admiring Google for no longer censoring is like admiring someone for no longer beating their child. Yes I am glad it stopped but it should have never started.
Yes, but what if the government forces you to beat your child or you will be kicked out from the country (or worse: got jailed)?
Well, maybe not that extreme as "beating your own child", but you get the picture.
It's the goal of Carrell Killebrew from ATI to make a holodeck.
His desire to do this wasn’t born out of pure lunacy, Carrell does have a goal in mind. Within the next 6 years he wants to have a first generation holodeck operational. A first generation holodeck would be composed of a 180 degree hemispherical display with both positionally and phase accurate sound. We’ll also need the pixel pushing power to make it all seem lifelike. That amounts to at least 100 million pixels (7 million pixels for what’s directly in front of you, and the rest for everything else in the scene), or almost 25 times the number of pixels on a single 30” display.
iPhone nabs 46 pecent of Japanese smartphone market, the tiny Japanese smartphone market
So you read a headline like "iPhone grabs 46 percent of the Japanese smartphone market" and the first thing you're likely to think is, "wow, Apple is really doing well for itself." Well, it is and it isn't. While it has made some considerable gains in the smartphone market at the expense of phones like Sharp's W-ZERO3 and the Willcom 03, it still hasn't gained nearly the same total mindshare or market share that it has over here. That's because "smartphones" as we know them are still a relatively small market in Japan, where carriers' lineups consist of a whole range of offerings including everything from mobile TV-equipped phones to true camera phones to perfume holders.
I don't know. This guy's resume and accomplishments sound very good, but he just did a pretty questionable AMA (Ask Me Anything) on reddit yesterday:

Same with any typing correction features, it only works on proper English (or whatever dictionary used).
It will be useful for typing more formal things like documentations, reports, etc. Not for chatting.
Time to get a PCIe PCI controller card.
I think YesScript is better.
If you disable all JavaScripts, sometimes you don't even know what you're missing in a website.

Robots.txt is futile.

Firefox already does this, just open in your address bar: chrome://browser/content/browser.xul

They could be units that were made by a separate company for display model purposes.
Just like those fake TVs in IKEA. They're only the shell without anything inside.

Who wants to place bets that we'll see a Lord of the Rings "reboot" within 10 years?
Another LoTR adaptation in 10 years is a remake, not a reboot. Unless if you're thinking to redo the storyline or characters...
Here are some of the funny ones: http://www.woot.com/Blog/ViewEntry.aspx?Id=10506
How come we never see these awesome vehicles?
They can also sue Blizzard for using Nexus in Starcraft.
We're past that climax... the answer's 42. Google it.
Now we just need to understand the question...
If all else fails, we can collect the world garbage into one big ball and launch it towards the asteroid.
We should be safe unless that ball of garbage heads back towards earth someday...
I'm lactose intolerant you insensitive clod
Me too, but I still love ice cream. Just can't have that second serving...
He's dead, Gym!
Still doesn't work for the cyclopes and some pirates...

Does that 100,000 include the Star Wars Christmas Special story which mysteriously disappeared yesterday?
It's been fixed, says Soulskill:
Something broke it temporarily. It should be fixed now: http://entertainment.slashdot.org/story/09/12/10/1333202/The-Star-Wars-Christmas-Special-Still-Exists
A hardware vendor can already put a tiny installation of Linux + X11 + Firefox or Chrome on small flash drive. Why make a new OS?
Can it boot under 2 seconds?
