I remember specking out a top of the line system in 1997. The price I came up with - $4000. I actually had a sound card but did not have a monitor included - so those should roughly cancel each other out.
And of course, this machine is how much more powerful than a P2 400 mhz?
It's that compared to the other lies told in this industry, predicting sales a year out and being off by 20% is not something I would consider a huge issue.
Not too bad, but not perfect. 20% off. Still, it's better to underpromise and over-deliver than the other way around.
Taco is a tool. I posted this, then they made the story 'sub only' and it ate my post so I had to re-type it. Lesson? Type first in notepad, then paste.

Putting aside the fact that you are a tard, I'll take the trouble to correct you. When they announced the Halo 2 release date, one of the devs or MS guys had the date tattoed on his arm.
Further, the development time for Halo 3 is much longer than for Halo 2.
Still further, what better way to mess with Sony than to release some hot title on their release day to steal their thunder.
I'll take a pass at posting a wise-guy response and tell you. For certain computer systems/applications, you can't use the backspace key but have to perform that function by keying the ^H (like a short-cut).
It's really an attempt at being cool by the poster - somewhat like saying things in French - because it demonstrates the posters leetness because, hells bells, he uses Linux or VI or EMACS or whatever backwoods forgotten piece of software he used or still uses that can reconcile a backspace key.
The bottom line, the guy is a tool. Trust that, even if my answer is not fully technically correct.
Whatever dude. I'm going to his house to ask him about the article he wrote. If he's not there, I'll try to sit next to him at Church and ask him about it there. If that doesn't work, I'll go to the front desk of his office and ask the manager there if it's ok for me to go talk to him.
Know what? You are maybe the.1% of people who even think twice or care about the EULA. If the agreement was needed to be signed, maybe 10% of folks would have a little hesistation for the first few months, but after standing in line watching everyone else do it, they would fall into line.
You're a loon. Your signature demonstrates that you are talking about something you don't understand and that you don't know the meaning of exploitation.
Don't be such a typical anal retard. I recall kids like you in class who would clearly got a question on a test wrong but would try to have the grade changed on grounds of an irrelevant punctuation error in the question's text.
You know what the upshot maybe if folks like you get their way here? BEFORE you purchase the software, you will have to sign the EULA right there at the EB counter. Or with a digital signature online. It's not like you are solving a problem here with your argument, you're just making it more complicated to address the piracy issue.
I did enjoy the episodes I did see, though I am begining to dislike the CI as way to formulaic and SVU as too overtly left-wing politically. I think I'll stick with Jack McCoy for the time being.
Besides, WOW is probably getting a lot better rate on bandwidth than some chumpy Meridian 59 game. They are probably sitting right on one of Level3's fiber optic lines. I don't know their server IPs but I'm sure someone can tracert it who does know.

I meant the demo.
Download the original Unreal Tournament. That was a staple at my old office and you will find it to be exactly what you are looking for.
In theory, I do agree with your objection. I just find it to be nitpicking.
That first year figure was the highest figure they issued. It was downgraded later on.
Sand in the vagina?
The market solution is that some otherwise great maps that have this problem will no longer be used. Hopefully, Bungie will step in and make a fix.

Look at this:
MS predicts 5 million for sales in first fiscal year.
The result?
Sales were 3.9 million.

Even further, you are still a tard.

ACtually, if everything you read was in that format, you would adjust pretty quickly.
Aren't you guys affiliated with the GNAA.org?
What do you think of that?
They already have to sign once, does a second sig really matter? It will be fully integrated and may just be the same signature.

You should look into the Xbox game. It's a prequel that got great reviews.
I enjoyed the sequel, too, but it wasn't as good a story.
Gattaca. Shawshank Redemption. Schindler's List. Pulp fiction. Pitch Black.
So what happened was the Forbes editor torqued up the title to get more interest, and Zonk went and torqued up the already torqued up title.

Just three law and orders. Trial by jury was cancelled.

What do you mean, 'not really' you tool? I was talking srictly about revenue.
Actually, no, that's because the agreement they made with the labels to prevent iTMS songs from winding up on file sharing.
