Not to mention that Chronicles introduced the point that with all of the time traveling going on, not all of the time traveling characters were from the same future even thought they knew each other in the future. Some had entirely different future-histories.
trying to pull wires through 50 or 60 feet of tubing can be a challenge
Baloney. If you need to pull wires thru that, all you need is some string, paper towels, and a vacuum. Tie one end of the string to the paper towel which should be crumpled to just the right size to fit in the conduit and provide enough tension for the suction of a vacuum which you should use at the other end of the conduit. Works like a charm!
I'm still not convinced. It seems like everyone is too intent on punishing others for not doing what they want. Anyhow, I doubt that when you purchase a receiver they print out a gaurantee to deliver Opie & Anthony uncensored or otherwise. In fact, they probably make a statement in their subscription terms that they make no guarantee to deliver any type of content.
Did XM advertise that they provide uncensored radio? And if they did advertise that, did they mean uncensored as in they don't bleep out the F-word? Don't get me wrong, I'm for free speech, but I don't think we should be requiring a private company to provide it.
As far as not costing taxpayer money... even if you do cover court costs by penalizing the loser with them, what could those "productive" members of gov't be doing otherwise instead of spending hours/days/weeks deciding whether XM has the legal requirement to deliver O&A uncensored?
Yes, this is off-topic. Yes, OneCare sucks if it deleted someones email.
If you don't backup your data you will lose it someday. It's not a question of "if" it is "when". Your hard drive will eventually crash!
I feel so sorry for people that encounter this. My business provides remote backup via the web & we try to help people prevent events like this, but it doesn't matter. I think all of our remote backup customers have previously experienced data loss.
I have used my 360 on a 42" Panasonic Plasma, a 72" Infocus front projector, and a 19" (4x3) Samsung LCD (computer) monitor.
I will never hook it up to the plasma again. I have well over 100 hours on the plasma & I still was able to observe some burn-in after only a couple hours of gaming (I guess you might call it "image memory" b/c it went away after a few hours).
Currently it's hooked up to the front projector in the home theater. It will probably stay there from now on. I spent about $1100 (almost 2 years ago) on the projector plus the screen, I don't know if that will work well for you...my home theater has 0 ambient light, the walls are flat-black, and the carpet is black. I think that's the only reason such a cheap projector looks so good.
I was perfectly happy playing on the 19" monitor. The only reason I took it away from there was that I moved the speakers away from the computer.
If you are going to compare like with like, then please do so.
Please note that Dell only offers the Core 2 in the Dimension (I don't think any of their desktops used the older Core Duo) & the Apple is still the older Core Duo model.
You don't have to boot into safe mode. Do the following: - Shut down every component of Mcafee (right click the icon in the system tray) - Shut down the icon in the system tray (is it called "McAfee Security Center"? - Now you can uninstall all of the pieces. If it fails, hit ctrl+shift+esc and use the task manager to kill any McAfee processes.
This worked for the last 10 or 20 systems I've helped clients setup.
A lot of people say to me, "I'm sorry I'm so computer illiterate." to which I respond, "I don't (sell real estate, build homes, climb mountains, whatever my client does) but I do fix computers. You shouldn't feel bad about not knowing, just let me help you learn what you need to make your life easier."
For most people, their time is more valuable than taking a chance at screwing up a computer - especially if their computer earns a living for them.
I don't know if your story is typical, but we move about the same amount of product. We've only been doing it for about 18 months, but our current rep is awesome.
Previous to hitting some kind of sales threshold we went thru 3 or 4 reps (I think they were due to turn over - one of the guys was promoted). It was annoying to change reps so often, but in general they got back to us within 24 hours.
For the most part it has been worth it for us. We give our customers the price from Dell's website (on occasion we knock it down a little to make the sale - we make most of our money elsewhere) and what they get is the knowledge that if they have a problem I'm only a phone call away. And rather than hold for 30 minutes to talk to someone, they either get me right away or they leave a message which is returned ASAP.
We give them a value-added service by giving them the system they need which is pretty hard for most clients to figure out. The $299 system is pretty worthless in my opinion b/c you need more than 256mb Ram for almost anything. Then again, most people don't need 2GB RAM or 2 NICs (I have seen people from all kinds of vendors end up with extra components - 2 audio cards, etc.). And we decrapify the system, get updates, activate Office/AV, etc. and install it for them.
It's cheap. Only 93% of whatever you are paying now.

Too many shows are successful with that flaw. See 24, Chuck, and more.
Is that a new Apple product?
That sounds like something a scaremonger might say.
What are you doing in there kraemate?! Are you taking the slashdot again?! You better not be taking the slashdot again!
Ballmer playing with the Air (nearly throwing it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYcxvEfUikg
If you have silverlight, go here and search for "ballmer" and you can see him interviewed by Guy Kawasaki: http://sessions.visitmix.com/
Because the punishment should fit the crime?! If you take my life away, you shouldn't get to appreciate yours.
Why not just use a can of Lysol?

WTF? Why a class action lawsuit?
How about instead of wasting a bunch of time & taxpayer money anyone who feels slighted can just cancel their subscription.
You forgot the last 2... 5. ...
6. profit!
I've never heard of this (maybe I have & I forgot). Do you have a reference?
I can confirm that they were down, but it looks like they might be coming back up. Some of my hosts are responding now.
For a bit, the GoDaddy support site mentions "technical difficulty". Godaddy.com
The Internet Storm Center has notes, too: SANS Internet Storm Center

Also, on that type of surface I'm guessing dust is _very_ noticeable.

I hope you verified the lease buyout price and aren't just guessing. When I had a laptop lease thru Dell about 5 years ago the buyout was over $300.
That's a good reason to put it in Las Vegas.
