I know a lot accountants and finance people that use the CAPS lock key for all entries into their software. I would imagine they would be very annoyed if they had to hold down the shift-key... or have to install some sort of "utility" to enable this function.
In high school I had a crush on a girl. Her mom happened to own a florist shop... and needed a website. I setup and updated her website in exchange for free flowers. We all know how expensive flowers can be... especially when shipping! I pretty much had an open house account... to send/buy whatever I wanted!
I am in the exact same boat. However there are usually stories she has not told me about, since they take too long to type... and give the right details. As a guy it is somewhat adventageous, since I then can relax and just chill when I get home. Sometimes I get home and just want some peace... not that she's annoying, but somedays we all have too many people talking/yelling at us!:-)
I know for a fact that my girlfriend likes chatting while at work, as it helps her pass the day quicker... during her slow times of the day.
I think it is ironic how this has all happened. I remember in high school having "LAN parties" at friends houses, to play the original WarCraft(Blizzard). We wouldn't tell people about it cause they would make fun of us if they heard about it.
Now, it seems like every guy and girl in town owns an XBox... and they get together once a week to network them together for gaming!? Suddenly its cool to spend an evening or weekend playing video games in mass!? I never thought I would see that day come! The funniest part is they seem to think this is new technology. "Wow, you can network the consoles together to play each other?" Yikes! I remember trying to setup a coax network to try to get a Marathon game going.
If they were truly smart and wanting to ge effective, shouldn't they be attempting to DoS port 53 on the blacklist server? They can attack the list webservers all they want, but servers performing look-ups against the blacklists will keep on serving. A) They are likely separate servers?! B) They are certainly different ports?!
The only thing these spammers are doing is causing more publicity for these organizations, at the same time making themselves look more "evil."
I'm doing almost the exact same thing, but not for p0rn purposes. It does cause a few issues when trying to do some intranet/extranet things, but I prefer the privacy.
A friend of mine works at a major defense contractor. They have port 22 locked down, but port 23 open!? So he sends his over port 23... making it look like an insecure telnet connection.
I thought Wal-Mart was offering a similar service and was going to try to crush NetFlix. Does this mean they will have to license the idea from NetFlix?
I know that one way it worked at my college, was the ISP would monitor the usage for a random 30 day period. They would then base the following years billing on the usage of those 30 days. Apparently they had some sort of usage --> dollar ratio or matrix. Since it was "random", we weren't able to try to limit usage during the monitoring. At the very minimum it helped with budgeting since we knew what the monthly bill would be.
I've got a handful of Invites available again.... Please email me at: bigwavedave[at]gmail.com.
All gone... Sorry!? :-)
If you want a Gmail invite... send me an email... bigwavedave[at]gmail.com
Isn't that ironic?

Does anyone know what the release date for SP4 is supposed to be? Are there any known "gottcha's"?
