NASA does not have a long-standing finding that Mankind is driving climate change; they have a long-standing belief, and have made statements, but still no scientific proof.
And here's another article that just parrots this misuse of words.
This article's summary begins with "Linuz Henze, a credible researcher....." but the linked article reports "Previously credible researcher Linuz Henze...."
Zero to hero in quick time!
Very quick, and incorrect, with your insults. I didn't ask about the cases of industrial espionage, but about the continued warnings that Huawei devices send copies of your network traffic home. The unsubstantiated warnings from governments sound just like th ones about WMDs.
I've never met anyone who signs their messages with their name 'Derp' but, in your case, it's quite appropriate.
Could someone, perhaps a willing-to-be-named government official, provide us (technical wizards) with any repeatable proof that Huawei devices 'phone home' to deliver our private information. Or should be just blindly trust our own governments?
You have an odd view of what democratic means. Just because I'm disappointed that an increasing number of articles are decreasingly technical, doesn't behoove me to post articles more to my liking. And, if by democracy you mean a right to free speech, then I have just as much right to complain about what I read.
The popular singles may be getting shorter, and streaming may be becoming more common, but where's the proven connection? Perhaps shorter songs are simply more "attractive" to the demographic with a reduced attention span, and artists and their record companies are aiming for that market?
You mean that only the sentence after the keyword is recorded *immediately*? Other sentences are not transmitted immediately, but mixed in the the recorded sentences, so that packet sniffers can't distinguish them? Or did that obvious trick elude you?
Another space launch by India; good on them, but do they seriously still believe they should be classified as a 'developing nation' to receive part of $100B as part of the Paris Climate Agreement? China and your moon mission this month - we're looking at you too!
Legally binding? Who is going to enforce it?
China and India, both massive polluters, are classified as 'developing nations' - how many nations are really enthused about paying their contribution of the $100B to poor, poor, China? Heck, both China and India sent craft to the Moon this month.
This approach measures whether people (may) like the trailer, not whether they'll like the movie.
Movie studios will make tens of trailers for each movie, and let the AI decide which to present to the public.
Then the public may be disappointed, and complain that the fantastic trailer was nothing like the terrible movie.
> "It has been designed as an 11-floor structure, in an attempt to conserve space in the crowded nation, according to Facebook"
Wow. Someone from Facebook should actually visit Singapore, and observe that it's big enough for, maybe, a 12 or even 13 floor structure.
What a nonsense statement.

As does my HP-25 Lunar Lander program....

Oh, how the articles on Slashdot keep getting less and less technical over time :-(

So, found in 2014, but being reported just now?
The others are non-commercial flights, not requiring transponders.
No link to the original Ars Technica article?

ARPAnet also started with just four nodes: https://www.scientificamerican...
Linux reduced the cost of operating systems, not the value.
The OP was probably a Conservative - they know the cost of everything, just not the value.

As the NZ school year finishes up in late November/early December, why not save 2+ months of licensing by waiting for the new school yea run February?
Yet another feature that removes the need to think before sending.
Spam is free, too.
Wow; have Apple sold a million of these yet?

It's "changing things down".
Is Apple aware that many airlines won't let you use wireless headphones and devices during flight? Or does Apple just wish us to be "courageous"?
500 degrees Celsius? I said raise it to room temperature!
