If iRiver put the same quality, GUI and controls in it as the IFP-390T that will be a iPOD killer! Have the 390 ( 256mb Flash memory ) and its the most easy to use player I have ever seen. The new firmware just released allows it to be uses the 390 as a pen drive. I asume the 100 will also have that feature.
The 100 has Optical/Copper in and out! And the FM works as well as any portable FM receiver out there!
Beyond the ham part and interference for other users of that chunk of sprectium is simple this:

Its twisted to do some limited shielding. This has none. Is not self shielding and both act as a receive/tramission antenna. Also the harmonic { mutiple/division of primary freq } would hit into FM { 88~108 ), Air{ 108~12?} and possible the AM band etc. At the level they would need to drive this the interference beyond the 2 80 is almost certain.

I know that Windows CE uses a DB format for storage but I want to see it under max load with "n" task accessing it and the planet worth of data to pull from with a good percentage being changing. Then crash it and try to restore the mess. What would the resulting speed be. Recovery time.
I guess you will need a 4 to 6 ghz system with an insane speed hd array and memory up the wazu!
Instead of revamping the wrapper why not improve on surviablity of both data/os/programs! When will they get it in their head that the OS does and should not be a swiss army knife with cheep blades that are dull, usless, break and hard to open!
I cant remember but they was something based on somthing called "tumblers" that was a way to access data. Read somting in a ancient issue of Byte mag. Had to do with Objects and mondering content.

The problem is that most players will accept MP3 etc. But will not allow you to up load to a host system.

There have been sterlizes keyboard for way over 20 years. Sill have one from Tasa that is touch sensitive and still works!
The main question is what is projecting the darn thing in mid air? There are other companies with IR sensor for keyboard. One was from Isreal I think.
