Obviously it would go at appropriate speeds in appropriate areas. I am strictly talking about cruising speeds. You can easily go 150 mph on good chunks of the autobahn just like you could no Mid-Western to Western US interstate roads.
Looks like you just need a winter to do better. There is a strong correllation between colder states and better scores. It isn't 90% matching, but it is statistically significant.
Once all/most cars are automated, they would be able to go 100+ mph in areas traditionally 50 mph and 150+ mph in areas traditionally 65 mph. This is of course weather permitting and the road isn't flagged as craptastic.
What is wrong with the voting machine printing out a receipt of your vote. It could have a hash on it, so you can go online at a later date and make sure the system has the right vote.
This doesn't prevent "extra votes", but it would keep them from changing your vote. They could use some other means for that. Maybe something manual.
Is it illegal for a store to have cameras? Is it illegal for me to look at you as you leave your house? What a slippery slope that "illegal activity" would be.
It will cost you one way or another... It may be indirect, but you can't "do more" and have it be less expensive...unless this is streamlining some process or something.
What has Exxon-Mobil invented in the last 20 years? How about Google? and I am not just talking about front-end products, but back-end products and processes. A high R&D model makes money. I think those against companies with high R&D think that the government is the only one doing R&D. No...companies do it too...
Office couldn't do the same thing, so that is why Office took so much. Do you not remember when office only exported to their proprietary binary format? If you used other "readable" formats, you lost the visual presentation of the document.
The Federal Reserve Bank's complex and lacks oversight? End the Fed!
They advocate a phased approach. For instance, start by introducing competing currencies. So no pulling of the plug.
Income tax is hard to understand? No more income taxes!
The more extreme one, Ron, believes that you can't get rid of the income tax without cutting spending. So no pulling of the plug.
Mathematical models aren't perfect for predicting reality? Use psychology!
What?
We've made a mess of another country, and cleanup's expensive? Exit Afghanistan!
End the military presence immediately. You can still contribute non-military resources. So no pulling of the plug.
Social Security commitments breaking your perfect budget? Opt out!
That is one position, but even that is for those 25 years old and younger. Rand has a position to increase the retirement age by 1 month every year. Neither are about pulling the plug.
People think you're a crackpot who doesn't understand the modern world enough to support your campaign through traditional channels? Fly a blimp!
That was a completely separate independent venture by someone with money.
You bring a certified check from the bank. But a dealer has the avenues and know how to accept a large non-certified check.

More like there would only be one size and one button. The remote will likely be an iPhone, iPad, or iTouch.
There are far fewer people like Steve Woz out there than there are Steve Jobs. Therefore Woz > Jobs.

Try and fix certain electronics governed by the FCC. There are other things that are made less functional to conform to regulations.
I fixed my custom DVR by delivering the feed over Component video and re-encoding it. I'm sure that's illegal too...
Don't forget that you might actually get arrested for repairing something.
We have this; called PBS. We have it privately too; called HBO.
Andy Cohen makes millions off of those reality shows, and then he writes a book and makes millions more.
