No, Jade Empire is NOT coming out for the PC. Get your story straight. Also, there are no plans for a PC port of Halo 2. Don't believe me, then check it out yourself - http://jade.bioware.com/
This game works well as is. I wouldn't want a 32 player match. For quick DM large servers are cool. For a game with strategy and teamwork 32 players would be impossible. Hell, even with 8 people on a side with voice chat it gets hard to do.
Yes, and we all know your situation represents everyone that owns a Mac. Guess what, my mother never has trouble with her PC because all she ever does is email and play Solitaire. A friend of mine works in systems at a university and he laughs when people say Macs are problem free. He says they have as many problem with the Mac labs asn the PC labs, they are just different problems most of the time.
When Sony and EA have huge market share it's okay, but as soon as MS wants to be competitive it's sinister? They have to make a profit in gaming or get out and this is just another step in that path. Would it be better to just have Sony or Nintendo running gaming or have strong competition?
The DS didn't impress me all that much. The only thing I thought was decent was the size. 2 screens is a cool idea, but it's not earth shaking and I don't think I'll be buying one unless I see a must have game on it.
Would be nice to have one that worked the same way SPAM blockers do. When someone got an annoying ad they could just submit the IP to a central service that would then distribute to anyone that used it.
In terms of dev support MS has been the best I have encountered so far. So, I'm not sure what you mean when you say "support and cooperation". MS has a lot of dev and publisher support for the Xbox, just not in Japan.
That's a huge load. The Cube is selling way more units in Japan than the Xbox and yet over here there are far more games being made for the Xbox. I am one of many gamers that do not assume the best games come out of Japan.
Does it really matter? It's entirey possible for a console to be successful and not be number one in Japan. Not that Japan is not significant, but it's not as significant as it once was in terms of console sales and game titles.

Yes, because it's cool to copy games and not pay for them.
Is a dyed in the wool Nintendo fanboy with a vendetta against anything Xbox. Take everything in that article with a couple large bags of salt.

Actually the character's name was Jumpman and he was a carpenter. He later became Mario and went into plumbing.
Is there an easy way to get these on to the CD?
Just bought the 160GB version of this - http://www.ximeta.com/products/netdisk.php , comes with Windows, Linux and Mac drivers.
$9.00 per hour for support techs? That's pretty low for someone with good tech skills. Or are they just savvy Mac users?

Maybe it's just the learning curve, but I find they sacrifice too much fun for the sake of realism.

An article like this posted on /. will get these people far more publcity than a simple Yahoo press release alone.

Most likely. After all, who wants to play PC games they played 3 years ago even if they are portable?
A lot of buidlings use RFID cards to get in and out. If he doesn't like it he can always quit.
Yes, you are truly evil and I hope you get it back double.

Do they think this will help the IT sector? Most likely it will cause workers to move elsewhere.
It's not blue murder. In fact the average price of both PC and console games is lower than it was when I started in the industry 10 years ago.
This only applies if the lower price is in fact closer to the optimum price. That's not a given.
Out of those 60% how many have actually used high speed and know what a difference it makes?
This assumes that visuals are the most important part of games and they aren't.
