If you have that stringent of views on it, then it certainly seems to matter to you. "News that matters" doesn't mean "things we agree with." If there is something that you strongly disagree with, but is being bandied about, that still matters to you.
Now those, I can agree with more.;) It's really going to depend on a number of variables that I don't know then - how quickly do the cells fall off as a fucntion of light intensity, how much margin do they have with charging time, how far north are we talking, etc.
What the hell does wether precipitation comes down as snow or rain have to do with anything, genius? Cold != cloud-cover, neccessarily. In the winter, in a temperate climate, it can often be the opposite, actually.
It's not baloney, sorry. The tilt-a-whirl is a related, but slightly different cause (something about that much spinning and your inner ear). Why would one, slightly different cause negate the other.
And it isn't just non-motion-sickness sufferers. The Tilt-A-Whirl is simply too much, but that soultion does help for dnacers.
I, in fact, don't think they should, but if they could (as claimed, which I doubt), quadruple their profits, then it may or may not be a wise decision, depending on how much they have to sell, and their faith (or lack of) in the long term viablity of the business.
I NEVER said I suggested that they go public, you may note. I was just questioning your statement of absolute facts (the part I missed the end quote on).
Ya, because hotlinking their images is your inalienable right and anybody that tries to prevent that, and save their unsubsidized bandwidth is a bastard. You're a real nice guy, all right.
*rolls eyes* University physics are a superset. I was pointing out that one needed only the far more insignificant, and hopefully better known, subset of junior-high level physics, in this case.
What I learned about gyroscopic effects in Uni certainly reinforces this, not cancels it. What, exactl,y suoper-secret University physcis classes were you in that suddenly overturned gyroscopic effects?
Gryroscopic effects are often counter-intuitive... but I, incorrectly as it turns out, figured most slashdotters would at least know junior-high school physcis;):p.
Exactly - can be. Tequila is strictly regulated by the state. Mezcal not so much. It's like Champagne, or Rye/Bourbon/other whiskey. There is a difference they are NOT equivalent, and there is no reason for you to get so bitchy about it. TGhere will never be a worm in Tequila.
Not being able to hold the presthood [sic] IS racist and sexist. The ability to have children balances the priesthood, right? Because after all, women should be at home making babies, while the men are off making the decisions.
2 Nephi 5:21 And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.
5:22 And thus saith the Lord God: I will cause that they shall be loathsome unto thy people, save they shall repent of their iniquities.
As for opening all their records - BULLSHIT. They sued a couple who was publicizing how you could get your name removed from the Church records. The think only your Bishop should be able to know this. God forbid it be easy to leave the Chruch without the discretion or hassling of your Bishop. If he doesn't want to let you leave, you shouldn't be able to. The Church has a long history of keeping layers upon layers of secrets. The higher in the heirarchy you go, the more you know.

It's already soaring, making it hard to call after the fact. People could argue it is more of the same, even it it picked up some, and if it doesn't they'll decree the OSS security model, regardless of proof to the contrary. Apache v. IIS, anyone?
Anyways, we're still busy figuring out exactly what code is involved, and what the ramifications of that distinction are.

Man, we (Salt Lake) don't claim him. He is from a little farther to the south, where all the crack-heads live.
I wonder if there would be any grounds for you to sue. If there isn't there SHOULD be some legal protection from adverse effects of an unproved charge.
My only point was that it wasn't as cut and dried as it seems upon first examination. And I certainly say it sarcastically. I've actually discussed this one in-depth with reasonably intelligent linguistics post-grads at my school, so it is obviously not THAT much of a reach.

"They are happy to pay to keep it up" Heh.
Actually, wrong, sorry. Snopes confirms that it is an urban legend - Probably NSFW if you scroll down.
Since when is it not? ;)

NO, that is to the DETRIMENT of his competitor, since they lose money on Xbox sales, so a hacked Xbox hurts them.
Stop writing so much with your wrist alone - move your arm a little more.

You do know they are blocking hotlinking with quite a graphic image, don't you? You can copy and paste of course, if you know to do so, in this case.
