    What country do you live in? One has to realize that any nation with any type of government is not free. Government is defined as the act or process of governing, especially the control and administration of public policy in a political unit. While I do not always agree with the United States government, I do recognize it as a necessary evil. Some system will eventually be implemented and often trial and error is the best way to find a suitable one.

    I agree whole heartedly, I have done research on OLED monitors and have discovered that at their final design stage (around 2010) OLEDs will be far lighter, thinner, cheaper, and will last have a lifetime equal or better than an LCD monitor. The approximate cost of the OLED monitors will be $0.50 per square inch. (around $5.00 in stage one around 2004)

    When running a dedicated server, what use is resolution? The only andvantage I can see is increased viewing area, but is it worth an extra 70 to 100 dollars to avoid using your scroll wheel every now and then? Not to mention that for the price of a small LCD you can purchase a modest sized CRT.

    If I were falling the equivalent of 54 meters, being baked in an over, frozen, or in a hurricane, one of the last things on my mind would be the condition of my laptop. Seriously, when was the last time you were in a hurricane with your laptop? Seems to me that research would be better spent on nanotech or the like.

    Why would any corporation so close to a monopoly begin using open source? Microsoft's goal has never been to please the public, only to screw them out of their money by making bugged programs and promising corrections in new and more expensive versions. Since many people have never even heard of the likes of Linux, they continue to fork their money over to Microsoft.
