Yes, it will finish compiling in a reasonable amount of time... Maybe about as long as it takes a normal system (say, Debian) to install on a Pentium...
Indeed. I have a 27" TV, that's probably around 16 or 17 years old now, and it still works. It's only a game playing TV at the moment, because it has some problems with bright pictures on it, but most games run well as long as I set the brightness and contrast right.
I agree. Put big "Open Season (Corporations)" signs up around Redmond, and you'd get an army with shotguns at the door to Microsoft... ah, that'd be fun...
Linux developers will never spend the kind of time that Apple does to make things cohesive and easy to use and maintenance free.
Apple controls the base hardware system and the base software system. (I say base system, as there are 3rd party components/peripherals for Macs, as well as, obviously, 3rd party software.) Many Macs use many similar parts. Most PCs have very few components in common with each other. That is the main problem making everything "just work" on a PC, under any OS.
Seriously. I don't have a single track from ITMS (although I do have a $30 gift certificate waiting for there to be something I want in the ITMS...). I have mainly Bittorrented albums, along with a few ripped CDs.
The first one was from the Linux kernel, according to the original poster (to be specfic, a Mandrake version's source - I can't find the file it referenced in the 2.4.26 vanilla source on my box). The second two should be from the leaked Windows source (as no one disputed them in the comments on them).
How about we kill IE, and let the rest of the browsers survive? There are more than enough without IE... IE should be considered a hazard, not a browser.
I'm guessing that those sort of government operations would just use people who look underage. A lot of people above legal age can be made to look younger.
Or they don't have any child pornography, and just promises of it.

But for a 16 year old TV, it's great.
Why do they bother to give their companies names like Claria and iDownload? Why not tell it like it is? iFsckU, iSpyOnU, ShowMeYourData, etc?
I file-system check you? Would that really be bad?
It's George Lucas... You were expecting it to make sense?
I agree. Put big "Open Season (Corporations)" signs up around Redmond, and you'd get an army with shotguns at the door to Microsoft... ah, that'd be fun...
Well, look at it this way... You got 2 +4 Funny comments, for a simple mistake...
Ugh... Lucas?
I bet he enslaved Portman and used her instead. That would work on many males.
Do you really want to try taking that on a plane?
Then you probably will never have children...

Or maybe Microsoft will merge (in the hideous horror-movie way) with the viagra sellers...
"If your computer is up for more than 4 hours, contact your technician immediately."
And *everyone* puts ITMS music on their iPod...

But I cannot personally confirm any of them.
Oh, come on... You're not karma whoring right.
You need to make it funny AND informative, like this:
MOooooooooON
How about we kill IE, and let the rest of the browsers survive? There are more than enough without IE... IE should be considered a hazard, not a browser.
Unless they put one of those "Let me in, I want to see this perverted shit" links on it...
Then you ARE actually attempting to.
Will their VOIP work with anything else?
Because if it's AOL-only, it's not going to catch on with most of the world (or even 72% of the USA)...
You mean same colours. This is not an IT section story.
They would have caught you attempting to do something illegal.
Attempted murder is something you can be charged with, for example. Or attempted rape.
Since when did BC have hippies?
Around where I live we have christian-fundamentalist-nutcases...

As much as I love Firefox, Thunderbird and other Mozilla projects... I do find them to be not-as-good on OS X as Apple's offerings.
Don't get me wrong, I love using Firefox on my Linux box, but Safari is just better on OS X. Same with Mail, Address Book and iCal.
Then your e-mail client is pretty smart.
Just be glad we can't move stars to make ads in the sky... Yet...
I'm sure it'll come someday.
Now, if only we knew which ones you refer to in each case...
