Is everyone still shell shocked from the previous story, because ALL the jokes are lame.

A simple way is to place entries in your hosts file (or caching name server) for the above list to point to 127.0.0.1 and you can then serve up your own banner adds. I find a 1x1 transparent png works very well

Excatly true, and in some parts of Australia, there are laws prohibiting the use of full role cages and racing harnesses because they make a vehicle safer at high speed, thus enticing the driver to drive at a higher speed.

Actually, reguardless of where you stood, you would hear the doppler effect, as that is the effect of wavelength distortion due to a difference in velocities of to objects. You have two shifts, a red shift for objects moving away from you (the waves are stretched) and the opposite is a blue shift (the waves are compressed). Therefore, standing at the start you would observe a red shift all the way. At the end, a blue shift, and in the middle a blue shift, then a red shift as the sled passed.

This can be compared to ISA/PCI (a standard) and the Micro Channel arch (proprietry). Which one lasted? I say if Intel start shutting off other CPU manufacturers, all the others should create a standard pin config so anyone can Plug and Play all the cpus from the other manufactures. This will leave Intel in the minority.
