    sorry, you have the wrong person.

    to answer your question. i'm not going to waste my time acting as your research gimp but even if there is no headline screaming "good guy sent to jail after sms conviction" it doesn't mean that people haven't been spied upon, arrested or even imprisoned based partly on the evidence gained from sms messages.

    it also doesn't mean it won't happen in the near future.

    it's an accepted fact that echelon exists (presuming the BBC is an ok source for you?). do you honestly think it doesn't handle sms?

    god i hate it when people call me on my mobile to try and sell me things. the other month i actually had a call from somebody claiming to be from orange (my provider) offering me a new phone.

    because i wouldn't dream of doing business from an unsolicited phone call, and to get rid off him, i asked him if there were any details of the offer on the web. he said yes and gave me the address of some crappy mobile phone accessories company. he wasn't even from orange!

    now i basically just cancel any call from a withheld number unless i know i am expecting something.

    i'd never even heard of the device. looks pretty neat if limited.

    my life has never been the same since i got rid of my nokia communicator 9000i. being able to telnet into my server was really neat. i just got sick of carrying a brick around though. any small phones that do ssh now?

    i just removed explorer.exe from my taskbar and replaced it with firebird... (it's the only way i could stop myself starting explorer).

    i've been meaning to wean myself off ms for a long time, so going to give this a real try.

    suggestions for best non-outlook email program?
