Theo de Raadt is ok really, he puts his coding where his mouth is.
And at least he's not a corporate ass-licker like a lot of others. He does not corrupt his vision with corporate goodies.

People in Europe and the UK are worth about 1.000.000 Euro's, this is the smallest amount that this person will hand over as taxes to the country it lives in.
So apart from being great to save lifes, it is really an economical sound thing to do.
It will bring land and make the chance or dike collapse a bit smaller. Major lakes near Amsterdam were poldered because they changed into dangerous waters when storms came over.
