You might want to look at the UCITA before getting too sure about an EULA not being in force due to first sale or informed consent. Virginia and Maryland passed versions of this act, so a software vendor could, for instance, attempt to use Maryland courts to enforce its EULA. Some states have passed "Bomb Shelter" laws to prevent this. Check out:

Unless things have changed, the blue sad face does nothing.
The voting buttons were being tested as a way to provide feedback to Google. The sad face would tell Google the result was bad. It should be cool when they get it working.
The test wasn't meant to determine which search produced better results. The results of the test help you determine what to put on a web page to get a higher rank on Google or Yahoo. Its really just trying to scam the search engines.
You think the local stores DON'T care about profits? They do. Maybe more than Wal Mart. The difference is you are supposed to like increasing the profits of the local guys.
Unfortunately, it doesn't say that. It says:
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
By mentioning both a "militia" and "the people" it becomes ambiguous.
In some cases, your comment is true, but in others not - as far as ownership goes. I own ~ 10 feet of the STREET in front of my house! I still cannot block the right-of-way or claim tresspass because people drive there.
I have to disagree on this one. Interpreting common law cases can be some of the most difficult work performed by an attorney. In the US, it includes all statutory and case law background of England and the American colonies before the American Revolution. Common law is not the opposite of civil law but rather of current statutory law. It may include civil as well as criminal components. It most certainly is not simple.
I had the same problem with an Earthlink account. The only time I used the mail account was to get updates from Earthlink itself, but I started getting spam anyway. Earthlink does NOT sell their lists. I suspect that the email address was taken from my Earthlink home page. They use your account name for the home page name, making it easy to automate harvesting accounts automatically.
These would be good if the poster were trying to control the environment, but he is only trying to monitor. There are many instruments with serial ports that do exactly what he wants.
Are you sure about that? I thought the antennas on the cell towers had gain in the horizontal plane. This should mean very little signal up to aircraft...
No. Pins 1 and 2 are TX+ and TX-. Pins 3 and 6 and Rx+ and Rx-. The other two pairs are not used.

$5k is low cost for that class of machine.
You must live in a place with really fast DSL and Cable.

The nearest Wal-Marts to my Times Square office are in NJ - Linden and Union. They're EVERYWHERE!
Interesting point, but this code is defining militia in terms of military law - cannot remove a perceived ambiguity from the Constitution.

JK Microsystems resales M-Systems DiskOnChip 32MB for $78 in single units. Not too bad really.

I think the point is that it isn't exandable, so you can't add the right card...

Are you near the airport (or an FAA control center)? If so, a more likely cause of dropped calls would be ground-air communications or RADAR.
