Cool. Here is what the source says regarding that...
NOTE: For those trying to decode the script below, keep in mind that while we force you to view our ads (to help pay operating expenses), we DO NOT make use of popups or popunders. We do also try to limit the size and number of traditional banner ads that we use.

Users may not like banner ads, but without advertising revenues to pay the cost of operating this site, this site would not exist.

Think of the ads as a no cost use fee to access this site. The alternative is paid subscriptions. We don't know about you, but we don't like the idea of having to pay money everytime we want to access some site like this one.

I'm going to make a prediction that because of this the news, Psft's prices are going to go up and Orcl will go down.

PeopleSoft has been fighting this tooth and nail. They actually seem like they want the keep the company. As opposed to just wanting to cash out and saying screw the people.

From this prespective, it seems like a Corporation is stucking UP to the Big Guy, instead of sticking it TO the little guy.

http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page /0,5478,8466600%255E662,00.html from the article: STORMS and lightning in Canberra stopped Mars rover Spirit getting its commands from NASA yesterday. When Spirit powered up in Mars' morning, the Deep Space Communication Complex near Canberra was shrouded in rain. Its signal was too weak to get to Mars and Spirit could not conduct any experiments. NASA has a 15-minute window each day to send commands to the rover. Spirit had been scheduled to start analysing a soccer-ball sized rock named Adirondack. Scientists attached to the ill-fated Beagle 2 Mars lander have given it one last chance to make itself known before they give up on it at the weekend.

It depends on: your camera and that media that you use. I use the Olympus E-10 with a SanDisk Compact Flash 128 Card and it works wonderfully. The transfer speeds are what you need to look out for. If you are taking 2280x1024 TIFF quality pictures, don't expect to be snapping them off at any high rate of speed. So it's like regular photography. Don't be a shutterbug and just click away, you need to set your sets up, and maybe snap 1 or 3 pictures, but don't try making a still frame movie either. Good Luck.

    according to the article
"Meanwhile, officials said they were still investigating who had diverted the focus of the camera from traffic -- where it normally is used to monitor vehicles -- to pedestrians, particularly young women.

The remote-control camera, located at an intersection near a row of nightclubs, usually shows traffic. But officials said someone in a state trooper office diverted the camera to focus on pedestrians in the pre-dawn hours last Friday.

Footage broadcast citywide on a cable TV channel showed several people, and the camera zoomed in on the breasts and buttocks of several young women walking past."

So the police were being total perverts on top of being jackholes.
