I remember playing this joke on myself because I was concerned it was going over the line before doing it to my friends. It would have been funny as hell, but way over the line. There's no opt in, there's no opt out. It was really creepy and way beyond irresponsible.
I pirate would totally kick a ninjas ass. Even if the ninja did kill the pirate, the global warming that would come would kill all the ninjas. So no matter how it ends, the ninjas wouldn't survive.
...1.When you first get a phone, auto-dial you once a day during business hours and prompt you to set a PIN until you do so
I use to work for a cell phone company and can tell you the customers would revolt if they did that.
...2.Do not allow you to retrieve any queued voice mail until a PIN has been set, require that PINs can only be set from the number they are attached to (without the aid of customer service)
Apple is a hardware company, not a software company. They compete with Dell, HP, etc not Microsoft. OS X is so you will buy their hardware. If they sold OS X for the commodity market, it would kill them by killing their hardware sales. And besides, any person who owns a Mac does not want to see clones. Part of the reason we love Macs is because of the consistent experience that we get. Apple knows this as well, they make a lot of money off it.
I have an IDE card, a keyboard card, a mouse card, and a token ring adapter. I don't know how old they are, but the keyboard card keeps telling me to get off his lawn.
Send me to a page that requires a username and password to log in. That's not going to work. It didn't take to much research to find the manual. The AT commands are for the device itself. Things such as changing DTMF length, turning speaker phone on. Absolutely nothing to do with either a CDMA or GSM network. I love the freedom that the internet gives us. I hate how 12 year olds like you post shit you know nothing about.
And fuck me? Sorry, Im to busy fucking your mother.
I was a cellular technician for a few years, so I speak with some authority when I say you have NO idea what your talking about. AT commands? Really? You couldn't have made up something better? I mean, that's just lame. A hardware modem in a cell phone? Do you completely lack any imagination, or are you just not trying?
So let me see if I have this right. The cell phone companies spend massive amounts of money, time and effort to build out a cellular network, and now it should be taken from them so you can have something for free?
I see a lot of people showing outrage. First, let me state I use TPB. Im not going to go get all high and mighty and talk about the evils of file sharing. But lets keep things in perspective. TPB was not raising money for kittens with cancer. They are running a web site for the sole purpose of profiting off large scale copyright infringement. Putting aside arguments over wether or not a tracker technically constitutes copyright infringement, they were not raising money for kittens with cancer, they are profiting off large scale copyright infringement.
Difference is IFPI never said it wasnt. TPB said it wasnt doing it for commercial gain. Then what were they doing it for, charity for cancer? The music industry is out to make money, they have never claimed otherwise.
What the hell? Ok let me see if I get this right. CEO's only cater to short term investors (ive never heard of them before) but not the board of directors that can fire them? And I guess from reading what you said the short term investors are the ones that give out the bonuses for CEO's?
I finished it to. The last web page is http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm

An inanimate carbon rod is more skillful than the previous administration.
I run Safari on a BSD variant.
...explaining that it is illegal to require me to provide it
What law makes that illegal?
I tried to look up immulsion but couldn't find it. Google suggested Emulsion. Did google suggest the correct the word?

That is a brilliant idea.
Microsoft did not bring us the desktop computer. The internet and cheap pc's did. If microsoft hadn't been around it would have been someone else.
Has anyone got their invite? Are they opening it up now? For the record, I put in for my invite April of last year.
