    Holy convoluted-way-about-it, Batman! I was thinking a Java client that would retrieve Telnet frames wrapped in HTTP data packets from an external server. All the server would have to do is put HTTP headers on the Telnet packets.

    Someone mentioned previously that the Amiga's custom chips provided the timing. Since UAE emulates the custom chips, is it possible to use this under UAE?

    Here is an article about an Australian system which simulates several aspects of land warfare. It's realistic and accurate enough that the Australian Army uses the rifle range simulation to qualify its soldiers on marksmanship. I believe that it is based on a popular Linux distro.
