What's holding me back? I don't know where to find them. Show me where I can buy a reader and how I can load it up with all the Java/Ruby/HTML/CSS/JavaScript books from O'Rielly and I'll enter my credit card number right now!

I'm one of the (un)lucky saps to have this new feature. It makes rewinding and searching for a particular place in a show extremely difficult since the screen is superimposed with an advertisement for Nicole Kidman's latest movie :-(

  12. Define new? on Friendly Plastic Pop Can Nearly Ready for Market · · Score: 2, Interesting

This can may be new to the market, but it's not a new design. I held a prototype of this exact can (plastic body, aluminum top) while visiting a friend that worked at a 7UP plant back in the early 1980s, twenty years ago. The can was clear green plastic with the 7UP paint job. It was empty, but sealed.

    2) While you are watching TV at night, lay on the floor and do crunches and leg-lifts to work the abs and lower back.

    3) Cut down on the fatty foods. Surf over to the websites of all your favorite fast-food restruants and check out the nutrition information on their meals.

I've owned two Toshiba Tecras, the 750 and the 8100, and they are incredibly durable. I've beat the living crap out of them, dropped them off desks, down stairs, even kicked 'em a couple times, all by accident of course, and they continue to run splendidly.

Likewise, my office insists on buying Dell laptops and they are en route to and from the repair shop more often than not.
