Having spent 21+ (enlisted) years in the Air Force dealing with pilots on a regular basis, I think my corrections to your comment is a little more accurate. While I'm at it:

Q: What's the difference between a pilot and his aircraft?
A: The aircraft stops whining once it lands

Q: How can you tell if there's a pilot at your party?
    A: Don't worry. He'll let you know.

Q: What's the difference between a pilot and God?
    A: God doesn't think He's a pilot.

Thank you, thank you. I'll be in town all week. Be sure to try the veal and please tip your server (but not to the point where it/he falls over.

I completely agree with you. But, the way the RIAA and the DOJ could use your logic it could mean that any number from 0 to infinity is an equal possibility. They will then use that logic to come up with a simplified way to figure out what the lady should pay. Let's see: (0 plus infinity) divided by 2. OK, carry the 3,473,567,458,963 and I come up with infinity as the answer. Therefore, this lady and all of her offspring owe the RIAA forever. The RIAA's lawyers get their souls.

That reminds me of the old Saturday Night Live skit where Chevy Chase is a newscaster and the broadcast is for the deaf. In the corner was one of the other Not Ready For Primetime Players; but, instead of signing what Chevy says he merely repeats everything by YELLING it.

  17. Re:more restrictive DRM? on NBC Universal Drops iTunes · · Score: 0

I am personally tired of networks dictating what time and where I should be watching their content. Agreed. I am utterly frustrated that Survivor usually comes on at the same time as Smallville. Why can't CBS change their air time? It's almost like they're in competition with other networks' shows. And while I'm on the subject why does my show air on a CBS station. How dare they dictate what station I should tune to in order to watch a show that I want to see. Perhaps they should give it to CW so they can air it immediately before or after Smallville. That way I will be happy.

This does stray from the topic a little, but people have much greater choice on when and where to watch their shows. Perhaps, you're too young to remember the time when most people got all of their TV programming via antenna (ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS). Yeah, you could record it on VCR with the same crappy quality you got off-the-airwaves. But if you missed a show back then, tough shit; wait for the re-runs. If you're not too young to remember this, then you need to lose your sense of entitlement. It makes you sound really fucking stupid.

You'd be surprised how many under-agers got popped for DUI or underage consumption just because of that .02 limit. I am not sure if this was the same bill, but it also used to be that if you got popped for a DUI on a base, civil authorities NEVER got word of your DUI, military disciplinary/judicial proceedings notwithstanding. Nowadays, your DUI gets reported to your DMV for action.
