YouTube free has way more interesting content than 90% of what those networks offer. Rather than watching things that are running at set times you can watch what you want when you want.
Sorry but I dont really see the advantage of network TV anymore...
If they're not sharing some info now they will later. We don't have enough laws to protect it, and I really doubt we ever will. Even if the laws say they can't do X, how can you prove they are?
I say the only two options are live in a hermit shack or just accept it.
I'm impressed with the calculation! Yeah that's dangerous and inefficient at that scale. I do kinda wonder if this could be used in say chip manufacturing or microbiology.
It's a neat tech, but "Tractor beam" is stretching it I think. How many dbs do you think it'd take to suspend a 30 lb box? I suspect a very dangerous amount. Still for small stuff, this could be very cool.
I personally don't see the revolutionary feature or features that would make an iPhone Xbox desirable enough to spend computer prices on. The face ID thing is neat but it's not really new. Also, one rattionale for buying better computer hardware up front is it'll last longer. With Apple, the promise seems to be it'll be obsolete sooner because they'll slow it down. (Yes I know battery issues, but then can't they make them easier to change out if they're concerned?) I like Apple well enough, I've had iPhones before, but I am failing to see the appeal now... Everything the iPhone X does can be found in a competitors for cheaper. It's not like they hold a design victory still either.
Yeah I can see that... Not everything from the past is unworthy of revisiting. Mechanical keyboards and such have made a comeback. (I think we're okay leaving mouse balls there though).
You shouldn't. You should pay about that or cheaper for unlimited. It's not a magical fairytale or anything, the companies have just decided they'd rather throttle than pay for infrastructure. So instead of using money to expand, they are just adding more customers to what's already there and doing almost nothing to expand. Meanwhile we are getting smoked bandwidth wise by almost all of the rest of the world. We can and should do better.
Unlimited, uncapped, unfiltered data should be the default. We're moving farther and farther from that. Cable companies even have usage caps now. If companies aren't going to do it, we need regulation.
I have no doubt of the existence of unidentified flying objects. Once we identify them they will no longer be unidentified. I suspect the video from the fighter jet that made it in the news though is probably a sensor glitch of some kind. In any case they're worth examination. I think chances we're being visited by aliens or alien tech is relatively low. Maybe not impossible, but low...
It would seem to me that the money spent paying their lawyers might have been better spent building anti cheat methods. Or better had been spent doing it from the start in the first place...
We definitely hate technology, it's evil! I can't tell you how many of my friends have been burning their smartphones and computers.
No, the real issue is that Science and Tech are just evolving at a pace that it becomes difficult to comprehend the implications of things. It's hard for organizations that move slowly like Hollywood and the government to keep pace. Most people love Tech and Science...
Why could someone theoretically not just launch a balloon outside the shield perimeter with a zoom lens capable of looking in on this?
Also, why are people going to such lengths for spoilers? To me, a true fan is someone who is willing to wait for the full experience with the wonder of not knowing ahead of time how things are going to pan out.
Is it me or is this a really stupid idea? Just making the doors gull wing prevents you from putting: luggage on top, ski racks, bike racks on roof, etc. You know, the kind of things people would do with an SUV or crossover...
You sound like one of those conspiracy nuts. That said I have a hard time saying you're wrong necessarily. Especially with the black box stuff they're already doing and the rfid tagging of license plates.
Sorry but the only way I would accept giving up the control to a computer is if they upped the speed limits for them too. Surely if a computer controlled car is safer than a human they can go faster right?

This is clearly an ad not an article, sorry.
Now living people, that might be a bit more of a challenge...

I've driven in CA, it doesn't seem like anyone's behind the wheel anyways...

Alright just need some uhh venture capital... A few billion might cover it... Let me check my left sock.

Because it's been the default since the early days of broadband. We should not be moving backwards.

If he wants to go, we should send him!
Interesting, what language is that?

So how many feral ghouls are there in London now then?
I hope someday they'll get their research guys on how to add a headphone jack to the suckers... Seems like it should be simple enough...

I would like my 2560x1600 display to update at more than 60hz if possible...

Yeah I want a mechanical override too.
