    My anecdotal evidence disagrees with all of your anecdotal evidence. I have never had a problem with VMWare stability, RAM usage, CPU utilization or interface.

    But really, your entire argument is crap the second you use the term "snapily" or "snappy." If you're angry at VMWare, and you install VirtualBox, your first impression will be that it's so much "snappier" even if the two are neck and neck. This is a stupid term, stop using it.

    Sorry, but your points are pretty worthless because you don't back any of it up, you just cry "unstable" and we're all supposed to agree with your blind rage.

    Americans really don't know much at all. S60 is the other platform by the world's biggest phone maker, ever hear of Nokia? It's Linux too, btw.

    The problem is that Apple controls the store because they can't have t compete with their own apps. Developers are going to run for Android as soon as some more phones hit the market.

    Hell, I prefer Windows Mobile because I can browse to a forum or website, download a CAB file and install the application. You know, like I own the phone and not MS. I don't even really like Windows, but I like being able to do what I want with my stuff.

    The G1 has a 7.2Mbps HSDPA modem, the iPhone has a 3.2Mbps modem.

    The 3G iPhone is behind every other phone in its price range in terms of hardware.

    Ever hear of Windows Mobile or S60? ALL of that was available well before the iPhone was ever announced (except lightsaber, but who really cares?). It's really nothing special, just more idiot-proof and much less flexible.

    Why the hell would you overhype a version 1.0 product? So you can buy a $600 dumbphone from Apple?

    People who bought a rev 1 iPhone got SCREWED. Then the price dropped and Lord Steve gave people credit to spend on more of his garbage. Then Rev 1 of the 3G turned out to be a bigger turd because it got crappy signal, dropped calls, has bad battery life, and crappy apps that crash the phone.

    So, moral, don't buy rev 1.

    Yeah, terrible customer support. I had to fill out this RMA form that took like 5 minutes, then I had to ship the old drive back, THEN I had to wait 1 whole week for a new drive to show up.

    Man, that was hard.

    Connor has been gone for years and Maxtor is the worst manufacturer of them all, where the hell did you come from?

    I only use Seagate. The only company offering consumer hard drives with a 5 year warranty.

    They put their money where their mouth is, and their RMA process is easy and fast. You'd really be crazy to buy from anyone else unless you replace your drives every year.

    Carriers want you using the easiest phone to support and the phones that use the least data. Highly capable phones are a nightmare, especially when you add in that the average American is as smart as a radish.

    They don't really want you to use data, they just want the money for having it available, just like your ISP. So they'll sell you a branded phone, that's locked to hell so you can't do much besides buy ringtones.

    Easy solution to locked phones: don't buy them (yes, I just heard thousands of Apple fanboys gasp at the though of not having Steve's latest piece of crap). Go get an unlocked phone and use a GSM carrier, that wasn't so hard was it?
