My anecdotal evidence disagrees with all of your anecdotal evidence. I have never had a problem with VMWare stability, RAM usage, CPU utilization or interface.
But really, your entire argument is crap the second you use the term "snapily" or "snappy." If you're angry at VMWare, and you install VirtualBox, your first impression will be that it's so much "snappier" even if the two are neck and neck. This is a stupid term, stop using it.
Sorry, but your points are pretty worthless because you don't back any of it up, you just cry "unstable" and we're all supposed to agree with your blind rage.
PS3 is also a slot loader, but lauding them would be a sin on/. while praising the people who are popularizing $50 versions of Flash games is just fine.
Americans really don't know much at all. S60 is the other platform by the world's biggest phone maker, ever hear of Nokia? It's Linux too, btw.
The problem is that Apple controls the store because they can't have t compete with their own apps. Developers are going to run for Android as soon as some more phones hit the market.
Hell, I prefer Windows Mobile because I can browse to a forum or website, download a CAB file and install the application. You know, like I own the phone and not MS. I don't even really like Windows, but I like being able to do what I want with my stuff.
The problem is making taxpayers carry the burden of a dying industry to keep their executives well paid, not your delusions of privacy where you've explicitly been told you have none.
Try reading the terms of service you've agreed to before you go for that "unconstitutional" angle so quickly.
Ever hear of Windows Mobile or S60? ALL of that was available well before the iPhone was ever announced (except lightsaber, but who really cares?). It's really nothing special, just more idiot-proof and much less flexible.
Why the hell would you overhype a version 1.0 product? So you can buy a $600 dumbphone from Apple?
People who bought a rev 1 iPhone got SCREWED. Then the price dropped and Lord Steve gave people credit to spend on more of his garbage. Then Rev 1 of the 3G turned out to be a bigger turd because it got crappy signal, dropped calls, has bad battery life, and crappy apps that crash the phone.
Yeah, terrible customer support. I had to fill out this RMA form that took like 5 minutes, then I had to ship the old drive back, THEN I had to wait 1 whole week for a new drive to show up.
Man, that was hard.
Connor has been gone for years and Maxtor is the worst manufacturer of them all, where the hell did you come from?
I only use Seagate. The only company offering consumer hard drives with a 5 year warranty.
They put their money where their mouth is, and their RMA process is easy and fast. You'd really be crazy to buy from anyone else unless you replace your drives every year.
Carriers want you using the easiest phone to support and the phones that use the least data. Highly capable phones are a nightmare, especially when you add in that the average American is as smart as a radish.
They don't really want you to use data, they just want the money for having it available, just like your ISP. So they'll sell you a branded phone, that's locked to hell so you can't do much besides buy ringtones.
Easy solution to locked phones: don't buy them (yes, I just heard thousands of Apple fanboys gasp at the though of not having Steve's latest piece of crap). Go get an unlocked phone and use a GSM carrier, that wasn't so hard was it?
Actually, try Dec 23rd-24th. I got some for 75% off. Not many people still putting up decorations that close to the holiday.
Won't someone think of the imaginary children?!?

No, it's so you can't sell it used later. They want a piece of every sale.

Choosing a browser with security as the only concern? Opera.
Too small of a target to bother with. ...well, actually that would be Safari for Windows, but come on, I'm no masochist.

Ones that want to buy their own hardware at a reasonable price?
Uhhh, this is Apple, the consumer is getting screwed 6 ways from Sunday.
$2500 minimum for a tower with a crappy video card, and no monitor? Sounds like someone got a good going over there.

Terrestrial radio? How quaint.
"With 3G Smartphones being so commonplace these days is Blackberry even relevent anymore?"
I can't figure best how to phrase a response given how completely ignorant that statement was. Shut up, stupid.
Apple and MS are two sides of the same coin.
The G1 has a 7.2Mbps HSDPA modem, the iPhone has a 3.2Mbps modem.
The 3G iPhone is behind every other phone in its price range in terms of hardware.
Ever hear of Windows Mobile or S60? ALL of that was available well before the iPhone was ever announced (except lightsaber, but who really cares?). It's really nothing special, just more idiot-proof and much less flexible.

So, moral, don't buy rev 1.
DRM is always invisible if you buy all your products from one company. I don't see why they would ever have any problems with this.

I believe they're referring to the Verizon monster. That big, ugly, overpriced, phone-locking craphole.
They've done such a great job keeping out custom Windows Mobile ROMs, how could they fail at securing an open source OS? /sarcasm
Google didn't have a production-ready BT stack, they have already said this was their fault, not T-Mo.

offer cheaper power at off-peak times. Let me use my dryer cheaper at 11PM than 5PM and I'll gladly make an effort to do just that.
Keep charging me the same, and I'll continue to not care about peak power.
Why not just call it like it is:
"Which shut-in, fat, virgin has spent the most time grinding the best pair of magic pants?"
