While the tactilepro is a very cool keyboard. This story is a little late, I'm looking at an ad for one in my old December 2003 Macworld. Nevertheless, Matias deserves support, the one downside to the Mac is you can't go pick up and old keyboard at flee market that the seller doesn't know the value of. As soon as I can afford it I'm going to buy one. Although by that time I may need to buy a ergonomic keyboard. This Kensington Keybord-in-a-box is killing me.
Or if you're like me and suffered through Windows 98 for years, you don't what to use anything remotely similar Windows.
I think Linux would win a lot more converts if KDE and GNOME where less like Windows. Especially in regards to Lindows, I think it will eventually end up making Linux a generic Window in the eyes of potential users. Just go into any $1 or less store and you'll see what I mean, a great deal of the packaging resembles name brand packaging found in grocery stores. Sure you might get some loyal users just looking for a cheap replacement. But most users when given the choice are going to go with the name brand stuff.
Try Nisus Writer Express out. It's simply the best word processor for OS X. Yes, it is a commercial product, but it's worth the $59.95.
I know I don't have to mention it, but Keynote is where it's at if you need to do a presentation. At least with these programs you can have part of an office suite.
I'm still looking for a decent spreadsheet program myself. So if anyone knows of a native OS X spreadsheet program that is at least on par with Nisus Writer Express or Keynote please enlighten us all.
OO.org is dead for me as well. It started when I downloaded StarOffice back when I was using Windows, can anyone tell me why the hell I needed two taskbars and two start menus? wtf. Now I know OO.org isn't like this anymore, but things still bother me about it. Like the file path in the toolbar, ugly, useless and tacky.
According to opensecrets.org Microsoft greases both parties (which is no surprise most corporations do) although, they gave a significant amount more to republicans. Also not the least bit surprising considering "[the Microsoft break-up] judgment was reversed in 2001 after the Clinton administration, which had adopted an aggressive antitrust stance, was replaced by a more business-friendly Bush administration" (Can Microsoft be tamed?).
I was just in Phoenix, AZ looking at model homes. Some of the builders offer networking packages. The ones that did only offered cat5 to some or all rooms. I'm going to move down there soon, and my house will be built with the networking package. After adding gigabit ethernet equipment I think I'll be good to go for at least a few years. They also offered stereo wiring, among other things us geeks dig like extra outlets, etc.
If it was really about the challenge we would see Linux and Mac viruses.

AEnima has 9 track of music that add up to 1 hour 6 minutes and 8 seconds of music. You're forgetting that Tool songs are unusually long. Third Eye is nearly 14 minutes, Pushit is almost 10 minutes and Eulogy is about 8 1/2 minutes long.
As for the 11 minutes and 10 seconds of so-called non-music, who wouldn't want to listen Die Eier Von Satan a recipe for cookies w/o eggs spoken to them in German.
Sigops How to Write an Operating System. This is a series that will walk you trough writing your own os. You'll have your own Hello World OS after you read the first chapter and you'll be multitasking by chapter five.
Why? What experience do you gain from this? I only ask because every other tutorial or FAQ, that I have come across, strongly advises you not to do this-- especially as the first step.
While it's not a major game from one of the big game studios, it is a heck of a lot of fun. It's basically a 3D (actually uses 3 dimensions, not just a 2D game with 3D graphics) puzzle game. You play as Kiki, and your goal is to get to the exit. The best part is it free and the source code is available for download.
BTW, I want to sell my copies of UT2003 and American McGee's Alice.
I'd like to thank you in advance for making Episode III such a nice experience for me. I'll have the theater to my self, but best of all I wont have to over hear any of you complain about how bad it was on the way out. I can go home with my delusions that Episode III was a good movie just like II and I (minus Jar Jar of course).
That's the strangest thing I've ever heard. Well not really. Unless your typing from across the room I see no need for it. Unlike mice, keyboard just stay put. The only benefit a wireless mouse has is it unconstrained freedom to move around my desktop. I don't think my keyboard has moved since I plugged it in. How does the wireless keyboard benefit you?

So, you're the guy who wrote the "Clean your PC" program I keep getting pop-up windows for. Damn you!!!
Didn't they visit the 21st century in First Contact.

Yeah, I need some new coaster too.
This screams practical joke.
Software Update reports it's 5.1 MB, but I'm still running Jag. I'm sure it makes a differences.
Duly noted. Still not much help if you don't already know the command.
How does that help you if you don't know what command you need to use.

Why can't I use Æ on /.?
I did a quick Google search and what I can tell iPhoto was introduced at MacWorld Expo January 7, 2002. Picasa was introduced in October 2002.

The Visopsys project has a page full of OS development links to source code, filesystems info, file formats, hardware references, etc.

Neither study resolves the issue one way or the other.

Is MPEG 4 ok. Post your email and I'll send it to you.
Please Sign this petition to have the commercial aired during the Super Bowl.
As a user I want to know what the ranking system is. I guess its greatest strength is its greatest weakness.
