It start to discarge after I take it off the charger. It will be fully drained in about 3 to 4 hours while on stand-by (even if I move the switch on the iPod to "Red" zone) As for the iPod itself, it gets warm just sitting their doing nothing. Obviously, the battery is converting that stored energy into heat. This is not uncommon for bad batteries.
Who knows, maybe Texas got a dubious batch.
Also, I'm rather pissed at IBM for their faulty drives as of late. But that's another story all togeather. Point being, I wish companies would own up to their failures.
Generally the Nokia phones have 4 bars. If they are all showing, you have great signal strenth. If just 1 is showing, you better wrap up the call in case you get dropped.
The G-Spot is easy to find. The next time your about to enter into foreplay, place your index finger into the vagina with your right hand. Now turn your hand so that your palm is facing right side up (your thumb should be pointing to the right). Now, slide your finger all the way as far as you can. You should now run across a "V" shaped ridge. Rub on this back and fourth and you're sure to get a reaction from your partner.
Now, if she moans...you are THE MAN!!! Congrats! You played the game, now you win a prize.
Iraq was a warm-up exercise with a mission to stabilize AND secure oil reserves for the US out of national defense. As for the morals surrounding this war....I'll let you be the judge.
My point is the Pentagon sees both N.Korea and China as a major threat. And with recent events dealing with Taiwan independence, it only makes this "theory" become clearer.
And being that China has an authoritarian government with an emphasis in military might, we should be very concerned they would make the rest of the world adapt to undocumented standards. I'm sorry, but I don't want the internet controlled by routing hardware made in China with built-in backdoors that their military would have access to in a time of war.
The battery issue is MAJOR!!! I can't emphazise this enough. In fact, one of the BestBuy stores in Houston wouldn't take it back. They refused and claimed it wasn't covered in my extended warrenty coverage. Turns out, they didn't have any new ones in stock because everyone else had the same problem I did. Also, this majorly hurt the stores sales metrics.
Personally, I don't give a flying fuck what their deal is...or apples for that matter. I payed for a working product. NOT one that stops holding a charge after a few hours of taking it off the charger. I'm serious, it's that bad. Also, I did my research on the net regarding this battery issue before replacing my original iPod. So the fact my second and third one failed is NOT due to my negligence. Apple fucked up, plain and simple!
Note: I'm willing to bet the fauly batteries are Sanyo brand. We've had a few problems at Dell regarding laptop batteries with Sanyo cells. But the cells from Panasonic and Sony were just fine.
But then, Bush is the most powerful man in the world and he's a dipshit intellectually, so maybe I'm wrong.
Considering Bush's public speeches are among the best ever in American history. I would say you're wrong. Why do some people attack Bushes strengths and spin it 180? I find it pathetic really.
Uh huh...sure. That's why I had to replace my iPod three fucking times at BestBuy cause of faulty batteries. And now we are hearing issues with the iPod mini due to a bad design in its headphone jack.
Even if the frequency was constant, wouldn't there still be a doppler effect due to the Earths spin while listening with SETIs ground based dish? Now, compound that with the source having a doppler effect and you have two instances of a doppler effect...right?
So why not cut thin slices of cord on both ends of the broken cord? I would think newly exposed spinal cord would help jumpstart the ability to be treated once again.
Why not just make it a law that states something like...
"All US based corporations must adhere to the laws in place for all US employees and employees based in another country"
In other words, if Dell out sources to Wipro in India, the employees must have legal employment protection of the US even if India doesn't recognize them.
When I worked at Dell, rumor had it that one of the Dell campuses (off Parmer Ln I think) would be sold off and turned into a community college. Basically, that's how much of their stuff is being outsourced.
As for you, I suggest you look into other forms of work. And this applies to everyone on slashdot including me. The days of job stability in any given industry is OVER. Ya, I have a shitty attitude about it. But, can you realy blame?
Rumor has it that some transgendered tried to sue Hooters because she was fired less than a week after being hired. Apparently, a coworker found out and notified a manager. I'm not sure what ever becaume of the lawsuit if this indeed is a legit story.
I'm still trying to get my pink flying pig to work. Ok, so I never built one yet though I plan too when I get some free time. I'm thinking of using a remote controlled helicopter. Next, I would hollow out some Styrofoam balls and wrap to of the halves around the chopper with only the blades sticking out.
I dunno, I guess I have strange sense of humor. But I would get a laugh out of seeing a pink fat pig with a curly tail flying around a skyscraper next to office windows.
Truth be told, I take medication for sever depression. My first clue to my problem was due to irrational thoughts of suicide. And it would often come in waves, say a few times a week. Turns out it's because of a low level of serotonin in my brain. Because of the lack of this neurotransmitter chemical, I was misdiagnosed with ADD in the 80s. Interestingly enough, when I went on medication both my depression and ADD went away.
The reason I bring this issue up is due to being "off the meds". I believe people do this for the very reason I will go off them; be it consciously or unconsciously. The reason I will go off them is because I will feel fine while I'm on them to such a degree that I see no logical reason to be on them anymore. But when I do that, depression will set in gradually over time. I find that my cognitive abilities rest with the laws of physics (chemicals in the brain) and not with my soul. I guess you could say it's a very sobering revelation to the human psyche as to just how mortal we really are.
Actually, McDonalds would be the PERFECT Company to use this technology. McDonalds own so much farmland with agriculture production; it would be dumb as hell for them NOT to tap into their own waste for extra revenue.
In the future, expect McDonalds to have huge contracts with Shell and Exxon as they have extended refining capability. And with America addicted to fast food and their SUVs, all bets are off. Wanna guess what stocks I'm going to monitor?
Harmful emissions aren't caused by today's gasoline. Though, you will run into emission problems if your car doesn't burn the right amount of fuel with the proper air volume. That is to say; if the internal combustion engine runs either to rich, or to lean, you will end up with bad exhaust. Stoichiometric would be the proper amount of air to fuel. Thus, clean burning exhaust with only H2O and CO (small amounts of NO2) as the result.
That's right!! Hire a bunch of newly college grads and hold proven helpdesk experience against people LOOKING for that very job. You sir, have it ass backwards. Because of all the outsourcing, there is a huge surplus of people with this experience. Anyone can get a college degree. Not everyone can or has the on-the-job experience to do helpdesk.
I can't recall the exact events. But back in 98, I had to RMA an Iomega ZIP drive for the IT department. When I gave them a call, I got an automated answer on how to trouble shoot the problem. But, if I wanted to speak with a "live technical support specialist" I had to provide a credit card account first.
WTF!!? The damn thing was under warranty. I'm sure they wouldn't have charged the card. But still, I didn't have access to a corporate card nor would I have used my personal one. After I told my boss (Admin of the department) he agreed with me. From that point one, we took the loss and vowed never to purchase another Iomega product. Fuck em, never again!
I've dealt with many of these 60GB IBM drives. Turns out, the problem is overheating. I think the cause it a faulty temp sensor and thus cannot thermal recalibrate correctly based on servo data on one of the platters. To get around this, I would power down the PC and let the drive cool down. Next, I would place a powerful (yet small) table fan right up against the hard drive to keep it cool. I recommend the Honeywell Enviracair HT-800. Now your drive should work trouble free and thus would be a good time to back up your data.

Eloquently well put. MOD UP!

Yup, this is what I call quality control.
Or if you eat one, you would get minor explosions between the legs.

If I have too, I will leave the US for work.
As I've said before... We are all animals; some are just more civilized than others.

In that case, I'm sure I'll be taking bong hits myself before flying the "pig chopper". Hey, you gotta stay with tradition ;)
I'm still trying to get my pink flying pig to work. Ok, so I never built one yet though I plan too when I get some free time. I'm thinking of using a remote controlled helicopter. Do you want that in wireless form, or over CAT5?
