I do video conferencing with RDP / Citrix from my laptop. What I need isn't bandwidth insomuch as rock-solid wireless with next to zero packet loss. I get close to that with the 5Ghz band as the noise floor SNR is so much lower compared to the crowded 2.4Ghz band. With Li-Fi, it's line-of-site, so I wouldn't be getting any foreign signals that would wreck havoc like in the RF spectrum. Honestly, I could live with a 10Mbp/s connection; I'd be ecstatic with 50Mbp/s!! 1Gbp/s would be overkill for my mobile usage. YMMV

Why would anyone live in a city that's reached critical mass? Supply and demand dictate these minimum wage earners would move out to areas where the COL is more friendly to them. I know that if I was making minimum wage, I sure as fuck wouldn't be living in SF. But then again, perhaps being smart enough to realize that is precisely why I don't earn minimum wage. But, if the FBI had access to the original home router or cable modem that provided WiFi, then it will start backing up on it's own once a day assuming the iCloud quota was increased.

She's working part time now as he's gotten older, but make no mistake about it, being a mother is a 24hr / 365 days a year job - and it doesn't pay! This is why men work longer hours to make up for it.
Not much has changed in the modern world with regards to the roles of men and women. The man goes out and hunts for food. The women stays home and raises the family in security. It's not that the roles can't flip, because they can and do, just that biology dictates otherwise. I mean, really, women birth children and breast feed them. They are moms!
In addition to all that, once you leave IT, it's kinda hard to pick up where you left off. It's a fast pace industry. If a women is going to get back into the work force, there are other occupations that pay just as well with flexible hours. This kind of grind is best suited to the single men and women, or a man with a family.
