They killed civilians to show off their military capabilities. By this time everyone knew that strategic bombing did not work. They did not have, nor did they think they'd have, extra nukes to 'soften up' to beach heads ahead of an assault.
I ran a search for "serving ferrets", when asked if I needed feeding them, I responded with "not so much" and had my session ended by the ChaCha Guide almost instantly.
That it captured the imagination of anyone. It has certainly attracted the interest of bunch of players, but the game is not imagination-grabbing by any stretch of the... oh you know.
I attend UCF, about 5 miles up the road. We're one of the biggest universities in the country, so we really dwarf Full Sail, but the proximity affords us a nice bunch of gamers to pick on for the local LAN centers. "Stick to making these things," is effective trash-talk.
The OV-101 'Enterprise' was orginally set to be named 'Constitution' but fans of Star Trek convinced the powers that be to use another name. Bringing a Star Wars artifact up is a sin! They should be bringing some Trek relic, like one of those old Klingon disruptors, or Michael Dorn.
How is it invading a cabbie's privacy to know where he is when he's at work?
I was not trying to make the arguement for the drivers' right to privacy at work here, I was merely pointing out that it could be both an aid and an invasion. That said, it is invading on his privacy at work.

The University offers a course titled "the physics of super heroes." I have not taken it, but as I understand it the class is setup to teach non-science majors some physics basics (that they somehow missed in grade school). A lot of people seem to really enjoy it.
