Why would anyone hastle someone from the videogame industry.
I mean it's not like there are games that teach your to kill or games where you kill police officers. I don't see why the government would bother people in this industry.
It's unfortunate that most of nintendo's offerings are simply repackaged versions of existing games.. Take the mario advance series, which is just a rebranding of mario games from the past. Instead of making new or original games nintendo is just milking it's old franchises... sounds like something Disney would do...
The games come on a new media format, half the size of a CD or DVD, holding 1.8 gigs

I sure hope their new format is solid state, because portable units are meant to be.. well.. portable. If it's a disk based format I doubt it will be nearly as durable as the cartridge based gameboy. Also battery time must be considered, if it's an optical disk the unit will not have a battery life nearly as long as the game boy advance.
I have a feeling this system might suffer the problems as some early PDA's: overpowered, too expensive, and not portable enough. Nintendo and Palm both tackled their respective markets aiming for two goals: Portability and Efficiency. I hope sony realizes this before going against the behemoth of Nintendo's Gameboy.
Romero: Coding revolutionary games such wolfenstein, doom, and quake along side brilliant minds such as Jonah Carmack.
Romero: Running his own company, into the ground. Release one horrible game that nobody plays. Romero laughs critics off as he deep conditions his hair.
Romero: Teaching at game-coding schools
Romero: Doing Contract work for handheld games producer n-gage (probably hopeless against the huge competition of the gameboy).
Poor, poor, Romero. He should have stayed with ID software...
I loved activisions newsletter. As a child, I always awaited the latest in early 80's activision news. I still have some of the original newsletters, which I will never through away!
Microsoft is fast becoming the leader of strategy games. Looks like blizzard and firaxis might have some catching up to do!
I have enjoyed all the games of the Rise Of series.
I'm not very excited

Converting 2d games to 3d games has not been very successful in the past...
Remember Mario? Mario 3 was one of the biggest selling games of all time, as was mario world. Mario 64? Dismal sales and an awful game.
Zelda? Zelda 3 was on of the greatest games of all time.. But in 3d? It was a dreadfully boring farce of an adventure game
Remember sonic the hedgehog 3d? Not me, but it was released, another dismal failure.
Duke Nukem 3d? It was a good game but it was completely different from the original duke games aside from the name.
I love the old 2d platforming style of game which has sadly been retired. I doubt they will be able to keep the magic of Sam + Max with the addition of a z-axis.

I have decided that since I do not agree with America's political views I will not purchase any american developed game especially pro-american games.
That doesn't rule out getting it off Kazaa though...
A supervisor should know the skills he is supervising... You should know programming, a little about art, a little about music.
But generally a supervisor will get the job after he has done some programming or other task. You have to work your way up.
