I don't have Mandrake 10 downloaded yet, but according to press releases I have read, they have put DVD writing ability into K3B as of Mandrake 10. I use K3B for all my CD writing on my current Mandrake 9.2 system and I am more than happy with it. If the DVD writing performance is on par with the CD writing in K3B, I'm sure you would like it too :)

I say this, because I often find spam in my inbox that contain "offers" only for American residents.
    I live in France!
Seriously though, would we have any luck complaining to their hosting provider about the spam considering they are the govt? That often works for me and my spam disappears for months before starting again when someone gets hold of my email address.

Actually, they now have a lot of RAW pics taken with L4,L5a and L6 filters.
If you combine them yourself you get very different results to the NASA ones. Instead of washed out sepia toned pics you get a much clearer result.
You can also see that both rovers landed in very different terrain.
Combine the pics yourself and see. Spirit's environment has all that nice red/ochre sand that we all know and love, but Opportunity is rolling about over bluey/black material with the red colour poking through from time to time. In fact, if you look at the closer images of the rock outcrops, you can see blue, spherical pebbles being eroded out of the rocks!
Whatever the controversies about the colouring of the pics, you can't help but be totally awed by the whole thing, and at least NASA is nice enough to make the RAW pictures available for us to play with ourselves :)

  7. The ultimate tool? on MIDI Keyboard/Computer: Neko64 · · Score: 1

This is what I always dreamed of. A few years ago I had an Amiga 1200, 14inch CRT monitor, and a couple of fx and sound modules hooked up to a small mixing desk inside a bloody great big roadcase to use in a live situation. The other guys in the band hated it ;) I even made a custom startup sequence that bypassed most of the OS to just run Octamed Soundstudio with about 10 seconds of booting up time. Now this thing, you could run Reason or Logic Audio and have access to a ton of sounds as well as being able to mix the sequences live. Brilliant!
