  2. It was already illegal. Technically speaking as freedom of speech is a constitutional requirement and no law shall be enacted that infringes it, contract law is then covered. You can not write a contract, that infringes freedom of speech as that would invalidate contract law itself. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof", so technically you can not write contract law, that would enable private individuals via contracts to infringe freedom of speech of others. So the common lie, private industry can censor speech whilst government can not is a lie.

So not 'Downloading' but uploading and the ass hats are just trying to throw in scary language. Sure you can keep them out at time of install but they can break right back in there with any patch or even any access by the operating they own and control to any of their websites. Easiest way to tackle 'a' drone in a combat situation is with another semi-automated drone. Rather than carrying weighty explosive, simply a somewhat armoured drone with steel blades, basically a flying lawnmower (said drone could also target people, flying buzz saw, quite nasty). Set if off in the general direction and let it use sonar for the final attack run, some times it will survive and sometimes it will not but the targeted drone will go down (lighter fabrication due to payload and required range). Many boomerang drones at once, far more problematic (boomerang because they come back for reuse if they do not strike a desired target and detonate).

Tackling 'a' boomerang drone in any more modern battle field will be totally unrealistic, as sending out say, 10 times as many as required to complete target destruction, to ensure some get through would be the norm, what the heck, you can bring back say 60% to 80% of them and automatically disarm them and send them out again, once they have been rearmed.

Being a combatant on a drone dominated battlefield means nothing but being a short life target, praying they run out of drones before you do, with the defending side having a great advantage in that regard ie defence structures housing tens of thousands of drones (relatively safe whilst they are locked up inside and indescribably dangerous when released all at once, why not, if you win, you can automatically recover all drones that failed to achieve their targets and were not destroyed).

They whole idea is to stop playing war by ensuring psychopaths no longer gain positions of governance or influence, rather than coming up with more and more stupid ways of killing each other.

It is not a national vote but a state by state vote and you would be denying the residents of each state their democratic right to vote for whom their state chooses. It is a tyranny of the majority thing, even doing away with the electoral college and going with preferential voting it would still be an electoral region by electoral region vote and who won the most regions wins the vote regardless of final numbers.

Keep in mind this prevents corrupt politicians from favouring more populous regions and riding rough shod over less populous regions. So winning regions still trumps (tee hee) over the total number of votes.

You are not reviewing for free but simply investing time and capital into the reviewing marketing and the return is not buying a crap product you end up having to replace with another crap product, which you replace with another crap product, and maybe just maybe finally then getting a reasonable product (that my buffoonish friend is the return on your investment, avoiding that).

  22. Two Types Of Propaganda on Crowdsourced Volunteers Search For Solutions To Fake News (wired.co.uk) · · Score: 2

The interesting thing about all this fake news and propaganda, is there are actually two distinct types of propaganda. The first everyone knows about and that is the stuff propagandists target at majority, the regular marketing lies told for what ever purpose. The second kind of propaganda is entirely different, now that propaganda is actually targeted at the propagandists.

Propagandists are bound to react to what the perceive as their target audience reactions and especially careful to protect their lies whilst hiding the truth. This makes them very reactive, they are forced to listen in case they are being exposed, or they are not selling their lies. There are really powerful emotions at play, greed, fear of being exposed for the crimes, fear of no longer being able to hide who they really, with very serious consequences, not only losing the proceeds of their crime but extended custodial sentences. This makes them very vulnerable to propaganda targeted at them, they must react or fail and suffer severe penalties.

The reactive nature allows them to be manipulated into over reacting or reacting in the wrong manner and traps them into doing things like pushing into more and more extreme propaganda which becomes harder and harder to sell or propaganda that undermines their own propaganda or even propaganda that foolishly exposes more secrets than it should.

Fix fake news, I would say break up the big main stream media organisation but if hardly seems worth the effort any more, they have already been tricked into destroying themselves by over reacting and whoops they can't take it back now, just going to dig themselves deeper and deeper. Simply legislate 'News' as a licensed profession and those practising are bound by the truth, fail to prove the truth they claim in court, then they do the prison time. Now if you want to tell stories and do no claim to be a licensed news practitioner, then not a problem, do want you want as long as it is within the regular laws. Once you claim to be a licensed news professional than you expose yourself to criminal penalties for lying (this is something that main stream media organisations will oppose maybe 80% of the market, about 20% will support it because they report the truth and the News licence and there honour and integrity would see them with a worth while professions).

Although main stream media will get the majority of corporate controlled advertising dollars, they have a shrinking audience and their advertisers will not be pleased to spend money on fuck all and will be forced use independent advertising agencies that work the the independent media organisation. So main stream media with billions in costs, paying wildly ego bloated individuals ludicrous amounts of money, will all of it sudden find collapsing revenues and being unable to pay to keep those bloated organisations going and collapse into bankruptcy, leaving nothing left but independent media organisations. Keep in mind those independents can shrink back to part time without much different and quite a few already have substantive media war chests.

All the bullshit about RT and Sputnik, is just that bullshit to smear over the attack on independent media, that RT and Sputnik reach out to independent media as viable sources, is the only reason they are attacked. Although RT wants to pretend they are under threat, they know it is all pretty much just camouflage for censorship targeted at, ALL, independent media sources.

People find independent media, only because they are actively looking for it, except of course when the idiots at main stream media want to attack independent media sources and give them tons of free advertising and their own disaffected viewers. Those viewers who sought out independent media will not go back to main stream, they will simply seek out other independent media channels.
