    I don't get it, those sites suck, they just seem to lead from one price comparison site to another in a big ole price comparison circle jerk, interspersed with some of the scummiest looking websites out they, often generating browser warnings about a known attack site. Google's bakes search results to favour it profits and worse than that it's politcs and the egos of it's executives and upon a broad scale. All they need do is start promoting alternate search engines, at government level. Stop using those companies services, direct the public to other services, there are really a quite simply series of steps to take. Look want to punish Google easy, block Gmail addresses on email and respond with an alert to the person attempting contact and provide alternates.

    So in reality, it is NOT about the game, it is about the social interaction. So in an age of digital interactions and complex gaming, the old social games no longer sell and new versions are taking precedence. In this case improve role playing with a story built by the board game and the players acting it out to the best of their combined abilities.

    Is there anything else in that, not really, probably that social gaming system has room to expand, especially in the current digital gaming market, people like the complex games but they aren't social, so a social complex board game becomes much more popular.

    Wizards of the coast are pretty skanky and manipulate children with the card gambling packs, you have to gamble to win, buy card lottery packs. Reality in this case, they will lose market share as they run into more competition in the market place.

    All it is, is sign of how incompetent Google is in reality. Search wars, was a competition of who was the worst at providing it and not who was the best, Google won by being the least worst but there in after got progressively worse, more invasive and more false search results and more advertising. There were reasonable social media players out there and Google could not simply win the battle of who was the worst.

    Competition is heating up again and those who could win, who was the worst, of course straight out lose in the real competition of who is the best. Google, well, - (minus), lost that and lost it handily, they were worse than facebook and that took real effort.

    Now google is jumping into gaming, wait, they lost at gaming once before, dropped it, did it so badly people forget they were already in that market and failed abysmally. Now they pretend they can succeed in a highly competitive market, sure the triple 'AAA' (arrogant anal arseholes) publishers are choking the chicken and totally vulnerable to major losses but the better game makers, the independent developers are entirely more competition than google can hope to tackle, especially with their always in beta SJW developers, more concerned with invading privacy, manipulating searches and controlling their users or is that the used.

    Nope, next on slashdot, following the evolutionary basis of our genetic code.     Take that to the next step, the best possible space infrastructure, one that can get us to the stars and colonising other worlds, so that future generations can get to become who they will become, the next galactic society. Why strive for mediocrity and an idiotically shallow focus on our genitals. Now so insane it incorporates elements of real and imaginary genitals and takes political dominance in identity politics, it's an insane social sickness, something that should be cured and not pandered to.

    More like an act of sheer desperation and the failing fiscal forecast for VR. The tech is a failure. There are two markets in there though.

    Much more compact glasses you put on to extend the display of smart phones from 150mm to 3000mm. Also an exoskeleton you can climb into to create the physical feedback for, remote robotic control or extreme exercise, more fun exercise where you do all sorts of stuff in VR with full physical feedback for an exiting work out. VR in the gym and for those who can afford it, VR exercise machine in the home, rather than pretending to be Tarzan you could play being Tarzan.

    Easy, greedy people who know nothing about programming and see the internet as one giant get rich quick scheme. Hire the cheapest programmers they can find and quite often try to cheat them and run the cheapest software and hardware they can and voila, a cheap nasty wordpress internet. Greed and ignorance made it happen and of course wordpress sites tend to disappear as rapidly as they appear, it is spreading globally though and hence, for the time being makes up losses. Probably using wordpress would be a pretty solid indicator of a lack of professionalism and long term reliability (based upon the performance of the sites that disappear).

The Democrats, pretty clear Tulsi and Bernie, 2020, who takes the lead kind of arbitrary and it would work well if they ran together and let the public decide who takes the lead, who is President and who is Vice President, would be an extremely popular move (well that's enough regime change, ;D).

    The electric midsize SUV is the market place to be, both as buyer and seller and it is rapidly becoming much more competitive.

    Now there is a real gamble in there, how long to hold onto your infernal combustion engine. As more electrics entire the market, so the prices will drop but as more electric vehicles enter the market so the resale of your infernal combustion engine will drop. So how long to hold on and when to sell, because that infernal combustion engine price drop will tend to be quite precipitous at the end.

    Choose and perish, one way or the other, pay too much for the electric or lose too much on your old gas guzzler. Keep in mind people will be able to fill their electric tax free, from their home solar battery power system, so yeah, when the market goes into full speed, your gas guzzler investment is dead.

    Solar panels and batteries require, roof space, square meterage, to function. They can only do so much in that space ie supply the residence reliably and TAX FREE (the money you generate by not paying electricity bills in entirely tax free income). You probably will generate a surplus, depending upon the efficiency of panels, the location and area of panels, which you can sell back to the grid.

    So that does the suburban home but it certainly means, higher density residential will simply lack the roof area to generate sufficient electricity, so they will need power off the grid, coming from suburban homes and their batteries. Probably have sufficient for low density commercial as well.

    Then you hit industrial and high density commercial and residential and their power will have to come from other sources, either renewable or preferable nuclear (we just have to stop burning shit as much as possible) and or by burning the gases produced by our sewerage, methane better to burn than to release to atmosphere, every effort made to collect as much as possible, why not, an environmentally expensive waste turned into energy.

    The idea that we should take into account persevering company profits based upon primitive wasteful and environmentally destructive profits, utterly INSANE, the quicker they are put out of business the better, especially after the climate change denial rubbish, not only put out of business but charged with crimes against humanity, for their insane psychopathic greed, privatise the profits and socialise the losses.

    Kind of interesting story when you try to figure out who the real victims were, far more complex than it might seem at first. So the people who bought those usernames and passwords, well they were naughty people and knew full well what they were doing and yet in reality, once the actual holder of the username password finds out, they alter the account and the person who bought it has nothing, they can not lock the real user out because they will simply stop paying, so they knowing buyer is defrauded because they buy nothing, over the medium term.

    The actual end user, likely losses short term access to the account and fends of any false billing, effectively their loss is the smallest, more an inconvenience, still really unfair though.

    You have the company, well, their fiscal loss is likely to be the greatest, loss of customer trust, security costs to try to stop it happening, remedial costs to return the account securely to the rightful holder, plus any losses that occurred during the period of illegal access.

    The perpetrator has left a trail of victims all over the place but then all he need do is pull the American trick, claim a corporation did it all and they can prosecute the corporation, whilst the perpetrator wanders off with their golden parachute. Works for one end of town, why can't it work for the other, oh, that right, it's a criminally corrupt practice, protected by corrupt psychopaths in government, paid off by corrupt corporate executives who are also clinical psychopaths.

  24. As human social development proceeds and we slowly but surely leave the mud monkey (earth primate) transitional stage, a lot of this persnickety astronomical stuff takes greater precedence. So the definition between the closest planet at any one time and the closest planet on average and the closest orbiting planet and as such the fastest planetary trip at any specific time and whether you travel in the direction of orbit or the opposite direction, to arrive there, taking into account acceleration and deceleration capabilities, all has much greater meaning and importance.

    For most of us planetary travel times all a little arbitrary but in one hundred years, that travel time and arrivals and departures will all become a lot more interesting for everyone.

    There is a secure system, it is called pencil, paper, ballot box. The votes do not leave the polling station but are counted there by officials and by representatives of those politicians who sought to take up a representative position in government. Make it more secure, video record the entire proceeding, vote and count and every person who gets their name marked off the role gets video recorded doing so.

    Fuck off with your voting system and you fucking military USA, just fuck off and leave the rest of the world alone, like WTF?!?
